Thank you - gave me some much needed clarity and quiet reflection today - my 3 year old daughter received a brain injury last October - we are still grappling with the whole concept and what it will mean for her future - I have come to realise that my biggest fear is the lack of understanding of her condition as 'she looks fine' - I just want to protect her even though I know I can't be by her side for the rest of her life - the whole situation is emotionally crushing . . .
@aardvark142 Feel free to contact us through this site or our Facebook page about sharing brain injury awareness through our poster message campaign, acquiring brain injury awareness bumper decals etc... I am an ABI survivor, had about 6 concussions. The 1st at 11 months falling from crib, last at 20 yrs was bad. At 53, I still experience effects of them. I have always suspected, & now more so after seeing this video. I've had lifelong effects since young. I function well enough that my hesitancies, uncertainties, lack of self-esteem seem more malingering than a real problem. I continue to improve via nonconventional means. It’s comforting & supporting to feel understood as I watched this video.

Nicely done! I have many of the symptoms listed on this video. I was diaganosed Probable Multiple sclerosis, albeit with an atypical clinical and MRI presentation. I'm learning and will check out your blog. Thank You for being here!.....Scott.
Thanks you for putting this video together, it really does a great job of explaining the variety of differences in brain conditions, and yet how their needs are similar.

Excellent video! I have sent this to family and friends who have not seen me sent my accident. It is difficult for them to imagine me in any different then I was before...this will give them a glimpse into the world I live in.
As a respiratory therapist, I see brain injury in the early stages. What can I do to help the survivors family to understand what is going on, and what will happen in the future. My son had brain cancer at 21yrs. He is now 27. We have come so far, and have so far to go. We need help, and I have a need to help others.
Wonderful. Has tested my reduced ability to control my emotions in a very good way ;-). Will check out the forum and promote the video in U.K. Thank you x
I compliment the makers of this video. It is one of the better ones that I have viewed to date. I enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing music set in the background. Id also like to add that, your approach to helping others better understand this type of disability was done most respectfully, eloquently and presented in a manner that is easily understood. You are to be commended for your contribution and helping to raise awareness. I will definately share this video with others!
