The map of surrealism should have included Ireland - also Catholic and with a long culture of absurdity and paradox. Although they didn't appear as Dadaists at the time, Joyce, Becket and Flann O'Brien were a later burst of surrealist fantasy.

The reference at around 7 minutes to Andre Breton - poor writer, making surrealism a literary movement - is an outrageous slur. Shame!

I agree. Breton is a sack of shit. Not for his writing but for his trying to force his idea of surrealism on everyone else, and turning irrationality into his own exclusive club.
