  • The best way to fight kickers is to get as near as to them. The nearer you are, their kicking ranges and techniques are limited. And when they kick, dont block but grab instead.

  • Smart guy.understands all aspect of fighting

  • Good video! well explained.

  • This guy is like a worse version of Cung Le in MMA, pretty much fatter, shorter, less acrobatic, and that's it. And hey, not like being fat is bad, (Fedor Emelianenko, Mark Hunt, Igor Vovchanchyn, Anderson Silva, Bj Penn, ect) but those guys can fight, this guy, just take a look at the rest of his comments, it's obvious through his videos on what he would do in a fight, plus his arrogant shit talk that he thinks he keeps coming across as a funny intellectual doesn't help his cause.

  • @myloveforMMA i agree he's like a total dick....

  • @hgamer And also, you think that most of these peoples comments don't matter, you're a dick even to the people who aren't trying to troll you and are just trying to learn. Probably because you think everybody is a keyboard warrior, I can level with you, I am sure you're a decent martial artist or fighter, kick 90% of the posters ass on here. But that's no excuse to act like you're the shit, you're not and will never be the worlds best fighter. Learn to be humble.

  • @myloveforMMA i already said i'm a dick, what more do you want

  • @hgamer Well I am nobody to want anything from you, but I am sure I am not the only won who wishes for you to be less dickish to people, you can block and ignore the trolls.

  • @myloveforMMA i was being bullied at the age of 11 they was 5 of the and they did boxing and i used to do wing chun and at the last day of my skl they went home with balck eye, broken arm, tooth missing, dislocated wrist, etc

  • @cubicblake You're a fucking liar, and if it's true, who was bullying you? 5 year old kids? You managed to beat up 5 other kids by yourself? You're telling me you beat up 5 boxing year old kids, and you sent them home with broken arms, dislocated wrists? LOL I mean, how old are you to tell me this shit?

  • @myloveforMMA No offence to you or anything, but you kind of went a little overboard on that and are coming off as arrogant as well...just saying.

  • he is SO right about blocking kicks incorrectly. The average person's legs are 3 times stronger than their arms. And the roundhouse kick is NOT the strongest kick out there. Try soft blocking a kick with force against force and you WILL get hurt, maybe badly. Kicks can and DO break fingers, wrists and arms. Its best to avoid kicks, not block them. Safer too

  • Applied Wing Chun FTW

  • the kicks demo here aren't good.

  • You don't understand the winchun movement . In winchun, they alway run step by step beside you. You can't have the good position to kick. if you have, they will also move by fight your weak position

  • Bottom line is, with Wing Chun....you are not standing there waiting to exchange kicks. You close the gap right away, and then the fight is at close range. He has one shot at the kick, and anyone who truely studies Wing Chun would close the gap immediately. He has one shot at that kick...I'd try to close the gap before the kick got off if it were me.

  • so...Wing chun has no defense against kicks. lol

  • what kind of a wing chun stance is that? looks ("it is") really wrong.

  • Man those kicks are weak :D

  • While I am at it, a friend I sparred against who is over 4 inches taller than me tried to block my front roundhouse like that, and I fractured his ulna. :D My the only one here who knows why kickboxing training and circular and linear movements in it are FAR superior? :D

  • @wiggalama wow awesome, was that right after you did a flip kick and through down a smoke bomb and disappeared.... you rock

  • @hgamer i have a question. how tall are u? not to offense you but i just wanna know

  • Such BS, you don't need to guard the "center line", attack is quicker than defense, its why a boxer can hit his opponent in the first place and why big parries and arm trapping fail. When you throw, say, a roundhouse, you have the initiative, you choose the time to attack. They have to think what attack is beign thrown, where, and then choose what to use to counter, all in the lessening time frame cause the attack is still coming at you, then execute their move=STOP HITS DON'T WORK.Its too fast

  • @wiggalama thanks for your input noob

  • @hgamer Congratz, you successfully made an ad homenim without a single bit of a counter argument. Shotokan, TKD, Judo, MT, Bokator, Savate, Boxing, Wrestling, and hell, even Paradel Sarey, BJJ, Capoeira, are better than WC. Only thing worse is Aikido and Hapkido, and that is saying something :D Good luck trying your army trapping or trying to hit me in the groin when I'm front kicking you there :D Even if you hit me, the lack of power is pathetic. Plus acc. against a skilled opponent? Good luck!

  • @wiggalama show a video of yourself kicking above your knee, do you think you can do that

  • @hgamer When I get back from the Army training I'll be glad to spar you and kick you in the groin so hard your nose bleeds :D I can head kick but its usually a bad idea agaisnt a skilledo opponent unless its set up, but WC's answer to it would get their arms broken anyway. OPEN YOUR EYES, look at all the evidence out there, including Youtube. WC is outdated trash, its not even battle tested like Karate, TKD, Judo, Boxing, Wrestling, Mauy Thai, etc..No core founder even, just legends.

  • @wiggalama not army training....

  • @hgamer All martial arts are arts of war or they are shit. Look up the etomology of martial art= Mars, Roman supped up honorable version of Ares, God of War. Art, significant aspect of something beneficial. Simple. It should be effective at beating your opponent, doing so as efficiently as possible for your wife and children. If it fails at that, it is NOT a martial art. If it succeeds, it makes it to special forces combatives. Simple :D

  • @wiggalama

I thought WC and all Kung Fu was a joke. Was training BJJ and MMA and like most in that area was dismissive of most striking other than Muay Thai and Boxing. Then I met my Sifu. He mixes together Muay Thai, Kali and Wing Chun and I've been amazed at the insight his WC training has brought to what he's taught me about Boxing and Muay Thai. Take what works, discard the rest. Good luck in your training.

  • @wiggalama

As I noted in my other comment, I was dismissive on the power as well. Until I felt it first hand. I was rather amazed and am a convert. At least to the WC I've been learning. Don't be so hard on Aikido, the motivation, background and goals are more in line with Tai Chi than other martial arts. It is much more spiritual based. Make comparisons on the actual merits and stated goals. Again, good luck and keep an open mind. It'll make you a better fighter and a better person.

  • @KaelinSaint There is far more power when you have good conditioning but use it in a boxing way that Kyokushing,Goju,MT, Bokator, and Savate among others use as well as Shotokan and TKD at times.Aikido's ideology is lovely and all, but your goal is to win efficiently, and its damn arrogant to thing you can control your opponent highly with fine motor skill like wrist control and especially CATCHING PUNCHES.And its not more spiritual based, willpower for our families is key. I stand 4 something.

  • Please come out with part 2 of this Hgamer. I've been waiting for ages to get the rest of the story.

  • Really good video. My only concerned is that you seemed a little tense and nervous during the filming, was this your first video?

  • @HairofSteel555 nervous doing kicks i've done a million times? nope, not at all.

  • who the hell blocks a kick from the right with his left leg?!? 2:23

  • @moxigen you can do what exactly?

  • @hgamer pardon?

  • P.S would love to train and learn from you anyday.

  • Dude, I did tkd for 16 years, and I have owned a lot of people practiced wing chun. You are the one of the few wing chun people who tell it like it is. Your kicks are great, and you are under no delusions about anything. Something tells me you have experience in a lot of other martial arts as well. Kudos. Keep up the good work. There is the ROUNDHOUSE and the ROUNDKICK, the roundhouse is powerful and doesn't cover the centerline. The roundkick, is fast, less powerful and covers the centerline.

  • @KaelinSaint

I don't know much about the martial arts so it's more a question but isn't the wing chun punch more relying on quantity not power?

you know there is this "Human Weapon" on youtube and it says that the wing chun punch works "stockable" and the continuous hitting is the key to the power

i'm not sure but i think the wing chun punch relies more on quantity than power and i'm sure that a normal punch from boxing has far more power since it works with more muscles and the right motion

  • The kick wasn't going to make contact. For both parties their is a changing of body weight and set up for the kick or block. So blocking a kick is hard yes. Bending the knee loses some of the power from a kick, well this is what I'm told.

  • The kick wasn't going to make contact. For both parties their is a changing of body weight and set up for the kick or block. So blocking a kick is hard yes.

  • I love the snappy little kicks in this video. Cute.

  • @KaelinSaint interesting, never heard someone say cute to the kick after they ate it in the face...

  • @hgamer

Please. I love the Wing Chun and all the videos you post on it but I doubt you've kicked many people in the head, if any, with any kind of kick. And even if you did the fact remains, flippy little kicks that generate power from the knee are not nearly as effective as those that transfer the power through the hip. And those kicks from someone, like my Sifu, who can throw them aren't slow or telegraphed like you claim in your vid. Stick with the Wing Chun, love that stuff.

  • @KaelinSaint that's what i love those that doubt....

  • @hgamer

I guess you are the exception to the rule then. Every time I've been kicked by a flippy TKD style kick, it's been laughable. Every time I've been hit by a well thrown Muay Thai style kick it has hurt like hell. But maybe as a distraction I can see it but if I can throw a kick with real power just as fast, I think I'd rather do the added damage. Either way, on this we'll disagree. On Wing Chun, keep it up.

  • @KaelinSaint this is a debate on tae kwon do kick vs a muy thai kicks strength, you serious?

  • @hgamer

Mainly it was replying back to you expert commentary on kicking. The simple fact of the matter is that biomechanically rotating the hip through is going to give you far more power than a flippy kick from the knee. It's the same as getting your hip behind your punches to generate power in Wing Chun. if you just straighten your arm from the elbow, no power. If you just straighten your leg, no power. Gotta engage the hip. But hey, you're the expert on all martial arts so I yield to you.

  • @KaelinSaint first of all, tae kwon do kicks, aren't done with the knee alone, and if you actually know how to break down the motion of it, biomechanically it is rotating the hips. As for the generating power in the wing chun punch, yeah, your way off on that as well.

  • @hgamer

Dude you barely moved a guy standing with his feet close together. Your kick fucking sucks. If you could kick hard you'd have moved that fool off camera. As for being way off on Wing Chun power generation, please educate me so I can educate my Sifu and next time Michael Street is in town he can educate him, oh Wing Chun master! You're kind of an ass. I tease you a little bit, realize I hurt your feelings and made you sad, tried to back off and be nice and you're still a douche. HIP IN.

  • @KaelinSaint ah... finally, the troll came out... see that's all i was waiting for.....dang that took awhile for me to bring that out of you...... Noob confirmed!

  • @KaelinSaint actually this guy used to be a taekwondo practitioner, so he knows his stuff.

  • @KaelinSaint

A poor comment. It was demonstrating a front leg turning kick which is hard to generate knockout power with. Person holding the kick bag was putting his weight into it, which is why he did not move. You are hateful plain and simple. The vid poster is just informing people of his information and training. I can't say he is handling all of the hateful posts as I would, but what would the world be like if everyone were like me? Let him show his stuff. If you don't like it, leave.

  • @kidcornchip

Easy man. My comment original comment was a bit smart assed as was the posters response. I have massive respect for Wing Chun and it's principles, so much so that I train Wing Chun. I'd like to point out that I am welcome to my opinion on anything posted to a public forum such as this video. You haven't stated anything not already said. A flippy kick lacks power, the video talks about how powerful it is. I point out evidence of it's lack of power. There is no hate involved here.

  • @KaelinSaint

You know what, you are right! You are entitled to your opinion. Looking through the "discussion" you both had I can say you are not being hateful. Just a smartass as you put it. LOL. I take it back forgive me.

  • @kidcornchip

Word. hgamer gets a little over defensive about Wing Chun. Funny thing about that is, I like his Wing Chun and his Wing Chun videos. But then I don't really have anything to prove. I do like debate and challenging peoples perception sometimes. Good luck with your future Wing Chun pursuits.

  • @KaelinSaint "straightening your arms from the elbow, no power." A) actually it does generate a lot of power (if done correctly) and it's efficient (Generates power without relying on rotation and retains msot of its energy throughout the strike). B) Uncommitted vs. committed punches, Wing chun straight punches are for rapid attack to the centerline and a rapid retract. (Therefore uncommitted) so they have different purposes. watch?v=CatghLzpjPc WangZhiPeng demonstrates the straight punch.

  • hello um hgamer. are some styles of martial arts "better" than others? why or why not? i think wing chun is better than taekwondo for fighting because its more practical and you can learn to apply it faster. does this not make wing chun better? i took taekwondo before and endured a fair share of hard kicks to the gut and the face and they hurt very much, but i just find that it is so much easier to use wing chun. and people still say no style is greater than another. why is this?

  • @dimezthemagicprodusa let me ask you this, do all cars do the same job, go from point A to B? the answer is YES. But is there a particular car that does it better, Hell yeah. And, when you say that someone, somehow created that perfect car, some how everyone in the entire world is goes in an uproar and say,s no way man.... well i give to you the most perfect fricking fighting system

  • @hgamer so is comparing styles like comparing cars? forgive me for being slow but i kinda don't understand if you are being sarcastic or not. can you just tell me straight forward whether it is better or not?

  • @dimezthemagicprodusa you could say that....both meant to do the same thing, but one just does it better... that's my opinion

  • @dimezthemagicprodusa

do you know why the wing chun frontal kick is forbidden in all fighting sports as mma etc?

because you can't build up your knee to endure as much as your shin

its also an art meant to save your butt not to look cool ;)

  • @MostWantedWannaBE um, i don't know why you're telling me this but thanks

  • @dimezthemagicprodusa it will help you compare

    both are arts

    both are good

    but they have different purposes

so its not a good idea to compare which one is better then the other ;)

  • @dimezthemagicprodusa Hello, before I tell my opinion I have to react to your words about Taekwondo. It is good martial art but in many teams it becomes a sport and this Olympic Taekwondo is in real life useless.

By my opinion it is not about the martial art you do but about how hard do you practice and who teaches you. You have to chose the stile and master that suits your body and that you like only then you will stay on it. It is good to try more of martial arts to discover what you like.

  • sigh can people please give the guy a break = = all you people dont deserve to do martial arts self defence my ass you all see martial arts as something to boast about go around bashing people with *sigh* why.....

  • @SaRuXoNiGiRi its just people being people...

  • He doesn’t even throwing the kick, they r not full extended! That so wacky

  • good tutorial but seeing as im also a practitioner in karate iv learnt to do the kick in a street fight situation using the ball of the foot it causes far more damage

  • Found it informative but coming from a northern discipline I feel like you missed out on front leg jabbing kicks. Your kicks are a beautiful understanding of most southern style kicks though. Awesome demonstration of how fast kicks actually are when they are thrown right.

  • I HAVE TO LEARN THIS .......

  • will you teach how to actually block the kicks in part 2?

    i would appreciate it

  • @fetonhazolo aren't there tons of ways to block kick on youtube

  • @hgamer yes, but its never late to learn new and better ways

  • please somenone tell me who blocks a kick like that???????? please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SAD VIDEO! I'VE SEEN REAL WC PRACTICIONERS! THIS IS CRAP! SORRY FOR THE WC COMMUNITY!

  • the guy in the black t -shirt fails :(

  • you call that kick powerful! i can generate more power with a punch from an inch away. sorry but this is very poor WC. I've trained for 6 years in WC and this is woeful. you have a long long way to go.

  • @upaste post a video master of your awesome punch... ROFL... i know you won't

  • @hgamer you are correct, I wont be posting any videos because I have no desire to do so - nothing to prove to anyone. my comment was simply a criticism based on my own experience and understanding. there is no need to take offense or be too attached to it. I'm sure as you grow up, if you have discipline and a good teacher, you may become more grounded mentally and spiritually and your ability to generate real power will develop.

  • @upaste rofl... i'm like nosterdamus...... yippppeee

  • @hgamer dude just look @ how many people dislike your video!

  • @upaste Its not about him snapping back at you, because truthfully if he is doing something wrong you should show the proper way if you are truly as good as you say. A real teacher would have suggested the proper ways but you simply bashed his technique and totally disregarded what he was trying to inform the public. You talk about growing and becoming grounded spiritually and mentally, but you fail to understand that WC was created by a woman and power was not the focus of the art. 6 years huh?

  • @74espada why would I "show the proper way"? "A real teacher would have..." I am not on YouTube to "teach" anybody anything. What does amuse me are unnecessary comments like yours "the Upaste clown..." Personal insults are for fools, especially when you don't know the person whatsoever. I do know that WC was (supposedly) created by a woman and that while power may not be the focus of the art, relaxation is a huge aspect of Wing Chun and power comes from speed as well as the mental aspect.

  • @upaste I called you clown to see how you would respond and now we all know your a supreme liar. Save your crap for the uneducated martial artist around. Everyone knows that speed will generate more force upon impact not more power. Hey anyone here ever watched the Million Dollar Man show from the 70's lol. "We have the technology" but the upaste ass doesnt need instructions to put the shit in retrospect. HE is sniffing the adhesive he does the pasting with

  • @74espada your comments are both childish and stupid. no more comment from me is required, as I am obviously dealing with an idiot.

  • @upaste this guy 74espada is a real moron... just don't pay attention to what she says!!

  • @hgamer Good Vid, The upaste clown still has a long way to go, as my Sifu in Shen lung kung fu would say,"Mental and Spiritual competence is reached through the actions of a man heart. "

  • @upaste you, first, have no honor as your demeanor is one that shows you don't even respect yourself. Secondly, you're probably a liar. It's highly doubtful that you've really trained in WC, and if you have, you haven't learned much. Learn respect or you'll remain weak.

  • still waiting for the second part bro...

  • do you show how to block kicks in pt 2.

this is all what not to do.

    where is pt 2.

  • @ThePenguinPulveriz eventually i will

  • I think it's awesome that you do wing chun and can do those insane fast high kicks, I know they might leave you at a disadvantage it someone could catch it, but I've seen people train with a bunch of guys in class that can't kick for shit, then they get a false sense of confidence. Wing Chun for life, but sick high kicks man, props.

  • @callmedavex2 i haven't done those kicks in years... i'm surprised i can lift my leg over my waist... ROFL

  • Fast punches help in two ways.First and obvious is the speed which you need in every case and second to confuse the enemy.Multiple hits confuse the brain who can not focus in the point of attack which is also very important.I agree that some of these punches may be wick but they have a point to the attack.Train and you see.

  • @dlvt79 Every hit in wing chun punching is accurate if you know how and hits hard if you don't block and take it and only takes its toll its not going to be the confusion of your brain with some extremely fast punch its how your elbows are pointed and your hits centering the core of your body thus giving you a fast result in making your foe fall.

  • wing chun fast punches are not useful when your enemy is stand up. Maybe its useful when they're in the ground.

  • thanks for the info man, great video

  • ermmmm, so what do you do?

  • I just want to ask why doesn't he hold his guard durning kicking?

  • His punches are NOT originating from his center line

and his kicks are VERY telegraphic

  • @hgamer thanks for the tip. Just ignore the fools. No need to spend time conversing with them.

  • @vasheer26 every so often its just fun annoying them...

  • @hgamer nice power in such a fast kick who taught you that? In L.A. they have teachers like Eric Oram who learned under William Cheung and Hawkings Cheung as well as Gary Lam

  • @hgamer

Thanks for the upload. I practice Kyokushin and Matsubuyashi Shorin Ryu and I have always been amazed at the way that Wing Chung redirects energy and attacks the center line. This helped answer one of my questions about how Wing Chung could be used against someone who attacks from the outside and at angles.

    Osu!

  • Amazingly helpful videos. Especially using the center line with regards to kicks this will help me a lot.

  • So what do you propose a wing chun fighter do against kicks?

  • @ansonswang - Here are some cool videos. I use these techniques and work well. These are not Wing Chun techniques to block kicks. But there is no harm in learning to block kicks from other arts.

    /watch?v=yo1AeVf-NQ4

    /watch?v=V-umCbT-Iik&feature=related

    /watch?v=aw2WAUXq6eY&feature=channel

One thing to keep in mind is a kicker will not simply try to kick you once. He may even fake a high kick, but then kick low. Expect to get kicked, get kicked hard but be conditioned to take a few.

  • Very good video..a well spoken demonstration of the truth. This gentleman understands more than most people in the arts do. To many people think that the art that they practice is the last word and is better than all the rest. If your a real martial artist then learn from this video. The first part in mastering an art is to know it's weakness.

  • I certainly can relate to ur kicking keeping the center line in mind. I was so often asked to practice kicking using my leading foot since its difficult to block the front kick especially if its done right. (i practice karate)

One more thing i thought i should add is that good kickers often use feints a lot and switch to back kicks quite often which are often difficult to block.

Kick Timing - yeah remind me. Mess it up u end up with toes jammed against elbows which hurt like a bitch!!!

  • ...What is with all the haters? He has a good point ladies and gentle men. Work on timing and actually have someone try to kick you. Don't do a technique just because, and think its going to work.

    Good video man.

I'll check out your other ones. Keep up the good.

  • Isso é Karatê 1 / This is Karate 1

  • that sifu has an AMAZING front roundhouse, speed, power, intent. an example to all of us

  • PS: THE WHOLE IDEA OF KICKING IS TO STAY AWAY FROM UR OPPONENT. OR TO KEEP THE DISTANCE. TO STOP AN ATTACK. BUT IT IS UNLIKELY TO SEE KICKING WHEN CLOSING RANGE...UNLESS U WANT TO GET UR ASS KICK!!! I JUST WANT U AND PEOPLE LIKE YOU TO STOP UPLOADING VIDEOS WITHOUT REAL VALUE!!

  • 2:12 I've never seen a guy blocking a kick like that!! is this guy retarded? please someone tell me .. because if he is.. I would apologize to him! I'm sorry guy I didn't kow ur condition. please would you forgive me??? we can be friends!! yay!!! great video. I like! yes! mkay?? make sure, when u kick do not tilt ur whole body. In addition, keep ur hands up. Hum... Also u telegraph ur kicks every time u kick u move ur right leg first… not good!! well that's homework for you.

  • @epicureo25 If you dont have a fucking masters in kicking shut the hell up. I bet your life that you wont fight the guy. Attackers do not give you warning or distance, when they start its over just as fast and more than one opponent and no rules. Show him some respect and keep your so called say so to yourselves because when it boils down to it all we have know idea who you are but we know his name and his prestige.

  • @74espada ok! I'm just pointing some major flaws in his game...from my personal experience in the street, and tournaments, and work as well. just saying...if you watch anime that's ok with me...I was trying to help and gave my comment...is that wrong? wow you win chun guys are little cunt's!!!

  • @epicureo25 Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha well Mr tournament lol, We Wing Chun guys are one vagina you will beat up HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. Im actually on my way to get you a cup of pooon juice right now lol! you clown and you say you kick at work, who do you work for........A Mexican soccer team ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Oley!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @74espada very funny! so funny I forgot to laugh! this is how you repay someone whos trying to help? you are a little 12 year old kid that got molested and kids your age beat up every day in school! one day you'll gorw up and understand life is not about deciding who is the best, but to decide what is real. yea work! as in I trained guys for tournaments and gave private lessons to many different people (including MMA). I'm not into tournaments or MMA fight. my life is my family now.

  • @epicureo25 You forgot to laugh??? That sounds clinical sir and a lot like Alzheimers, I would get that looked at. Look I dont need your biography, Im not the one who played with your booty hole and made you say "I like it" in a girls voice. I doubt all your claims for you have no prestige, second I was the guy everyone liked in school because i was the guy nice to everyone and they respected me from the geeks to the popular kids. Thirdly at least im a 12 yo that can spell., You clown

  • @74espada i'M BEEN CINICAL YOU DUMB CUNT! why don't you try to get a life! you are better off being a stand up comedian! you r so fu.. funny! dude wake up! just look @ how many people dislike this video! please you can't be so stupid!! or can you? yea you can spell! bravo! I can writte in 3 diferent languages + I'm learning Russian while doing my masters @ Georgetown Uni. so fuck off!! lol kid you are such looser! metete la espada en el culo! y no jodais!

  • @epicureo25

So, was it in that esteemed master's program @ Georgetown Uni that they taught you to spell loser as "looser"?

  • @epicureo25 So mr. Family guy keep your so called offensive comments to yourself because these pitiful low blow assumption of my life (Which uncle made you do to him and probably your kid right now........... there in the closet, the same place he got you) are of no good to you. You cant fight and if you dd you are probably the practice dummy ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha i love laughing at you pricks

  • Why are so many ppl trash talking this guy? Whether you like it or not, it's true. Fact is it's not the easiest thing in the world to block kicks. you put your arm up and your arm is gonna hurt like a bitch. Please consider what hgamer is saying and don't pull ad hominems

  • @heartdyedpurple that's a simple answer, if you look at the majority of people out there, most of the arm chair critics are retards... that's why...

  • ignore all these haters on here, your kicks are not bad at all

  • 4:40 if that's how you kick in real life I would totally own ur ass!!

  • @epicureo25 i'm sure that's your dream.. to do something to my ass.....

  • 2:10 not the way to block a kick!! lmao!!!

  • bad video Jet Lee wanna be!!!

  • @epicureo25 why do guys who can't even touch their toes or let alone see them talk the most useless shit

  • @hgamer just look at the dislikes! this kind of videos r made for the wing chun practicioners and even them don't like this video. maybe a bunch of kids that have just watch karate kid r excited about this video. it's amazing the kind of crap that one can upload in youtube!!

  • i love how little understanding people have over the concept of power. anyone who says you HAVE to load up your fist or your foot with Hulk-like strength and try that chuck liddel superman punch bullshit is wasting precious energy. this goes double for anyone who isnt open minded enough to learn kung fu.

  • there are sooooo many variations of it, and the best ones such as Wing Chun dont rely on brute strength for effectiveness. so please, anyone who says that you have to be Hercules to be badass, please step up to a kung fu master and watch how quickly relying on your strength to win see how quickly your ass becomes friends with the floor.

  • 0:41 "All the way around here" xD he sounds like arnie jajaja.

  • No man, if you do the king from your center there is no real power. Just have to learn how to kick faster and only do them when you're certain.

  • dude have you ever heard of the diamond step? your guy stepped straight in thats why it was force crashing against force, if he had performed the diamond step like he was supposed to it would not have been so slow. in wing tsun there are no blocks only perries and deflections we dont want to stop the opponents force we want to redirect it and use it. and if anything bruce lee was a tsun want to be, he studied under ip man and before he even had any understanding of wing tsun he tried to changeit

  • ....so how do you block a kick?? he never says how wing chun gets away from a kick. this guy has seen to many movies....I bet he has never been on a street fight against a martial arts practitioner besides win chun. pretty gay video. the way to "block" or avoid that kick is by kicking a reverse kick. (TKD) or to close distances and punch in the face or trhoat or elbow. or sweep the leg. or other different ways!! wing chun is good, but the practitioners are bruce lee wannabees!

  • @epicureo25 i bet you can't even kick above your ankle

  • @hgamer silence insect! you are talking to a TKD black belt! watch kyokushin vs wing chun!! you'll see where guys like you belong!!

  • @epicureo25 your black belt that you so gladly advertise does not give you authority over anyone else.

  • @kimcheolho lol when did I said that??

  • @epicureo25 HAHAHA LOL ROFL LMFAO

please tell me..based on his explanations, how did you come up with the idea that he watches too many movies? if you get anything from the video, it SHOULD be that this guy goes to class too damn much..because he knows wtf he's talking about..based off of your question/response i can tell you only clicked on this video to find the ultimate secret technique to block a kick! once again HAHAHA LOL ROFL LMAO @ U!!!

train concepts/principles & not technique SON

  • @YoungCrs ok I know he doesn't know what he is talking about is because he doesn't!!! those kicks he did on the video don't apply to real fighting situations! but how would you know? I clicked on this video because I like to know more! how is that wrong? lol! only closed minded people like you think in that way. sad...there are so many things wrong with this video ..I don't wanna waste my time anymore.

  • @epicureo25 continues to LMFAO

for the record only closed minded people come ONLINE to find the one and only secret TECHNIQUE to every single situation out there

please PLEASE don't waste anymore of your time watching videos and actually GO and TRAIN...then and only then will you realize there is no one and only one ultimate kick to stop every single kick..and if you get any good, which i doubt will be for a very long time, you will realize its all bout CONCEPTS/PRINCIPLES...NOT TECHNIQUE, SON

  • @YoungCrs please stop putting words in my mouth! you r asking me to go and train? do you even know who u r talking to SON? everything you just sais about me are simply wrong! this video is wrong for many reasons that I've already pointed. I will not waste anymore of my time talking to someone who's learned martial arts watching anime."you realize there is no one and only one ultimate kick to stop every single kick.." quoting ur own stupidity! I never said such a thing! I only feel sorry 4 u!

  • @epicureo25 i cannot take a person, who says not to do one thing yet he himself does it, seriously (not saying that i did in the first place)

-walks away laughing my ass off-

  • @YoungCrs you are a very special retarded fuck!!! good luck in ur mediocre life!

  • @epicureo25 You're an idiot xD

I think you're the one whos never been in a street fight

A reverse kick in a real fight?? fuckin really xD?

  • @mageslol I was just setting an example. why u people are against me... I'm just pointing the obvious! this video is misleading for many reasons! u and ur fag friends can go and have an orgy! I'm tired of trying to make u understand... I'm sorry for ur dad should've pulled out a second before !!

  • @epicureo25 Nice insult my feelings are hurt xD

Someone needs an education and to learn how fight

    you're a fool get a life

  • @mageslol lol I mean .. what do you want me to tell you?? what am saying is true .. other wise I wouldn't say it right? and then comes all this ignorant people trying to tell me they know? please! I'm not a kid trying to pick up a fight over the internet.. I'm just trying to make a point .. what I believe based on my experience and knowlege .. that's all.

  • @epicureo25 haha A lot of people believe what they say is true...

but that still doesn't mean it is sorry lol

  • @mageslol it is easy to give an opinion...but I wouldn't give mine if I didn't know what I'm taking about. I didn't learn martial arts watching movies or anime.

  • (Cntd.)..depends on the angle of attack, the distance between your opponent and yourself (distance) and your position in relation to the opponent. There are many techniques to deal with kickers, but you learn the best and most effective first; Bik-bo-dip-da (sticking to the enemy with stepping punches). and Ya-mo-bo-fat (stance inserting step techniques). If you are inserting your stance into your opponent, he can't kick you. PERIOD. to many "Wing Chun" people do crazy stuff.. Step and punch!!!!

  • @GUFF21 I couldn't agree more. The best defense is always offense. Footwork and highline attacking is a magnificent remedy for ANY attack (provided you're rooted).

  • Ok wing tsun (chun) doesn't block anything, we deflect.the best solution is to step and punch. This is a Biu-tze motto "to defend with an attack". It is all dependent on range. If someone wants to kick with power he needs rotation of the hips... You punch can and WILL land before the kick 80% of the time. Anything you use other than that is a REMEDIAL technique; I E... Gaun-sau (dar{with a punch}), bong-gerk, yap-gerk, or any other hand or foot technique. But it all depends on the angle

  • Hi hgamer, I'm no master but i'd like to know how you would ''block'' a kick ? I understand that you would not use ''Bong Gerk'' against a kick coming from outside like those you shown.. But maybe The Double Gan Sao your partner shows would be good if he do it with his elbows closer.. So i'd like your opinion about this :-)

  • He is like the principal in South Park - Mkay, Mkay, Mkay...

  • @klonnsjo and your mr. garret, right mr. hat

  • @klonnsjo drugs are bad mkay, if you take it's because your bad

  • uh those kicks were pretty fast man no sarcasm either, is wing chun apart of kung fu?

  • @hiphoplivs Wing Chun grew out of Kung Fu, so it shares a lot. But it largely attempts to eliminate the more complex movements that you will see in the northern styles. The way I see it, Wing Chun is better for someone who wants to be able to be potent with limited (but effective) training time rather than the constant effort and years that the northern styles take. (This is coming from a friend of mine who trains in Wing Chun).

  • @forlornhope88 wing tsun (like all "kung fu") is actually a form of Mo-sut (wu-shu) martial art... A derivitive of Mo-Sut (to stop a war) Wing Chun is not limited, there are many techniques, but used properly, there is no need for 100's or even 1000's of techniques. Its been proven you need at least 100 hours to master one technique, thats if you have competent tuition.

  • Nice kick! Short with good leverage
