You're a good tactician! Totally agreed about bolt-action rifles. So satisfying to use, especially when you score a long-range shot that would warrant a scope using only open sights. If you're a rifleman with a bolt-action rifle, it's best to switch to your sidearm for indoor fighting. This is also true for machine gunners. Of course, it's not uncommon to scrounge an SMG off a fallen foe (or comrade). Naturally, any SMG makes a good complement to a bolt-action rifle. And I LOVE combo sights!

What is the difference between allies with red names and allies with green names?

@searingburrito Allies with green names are in your squad. The rest are just on your team.

@searingburrito It's confusing at first because red is the Soviet team color and green is the German team color. You just have to remember that you only see names above characters on your team.

@Kommandant986 Engineer has an SMG and anti-tank grenades and a satchel charge for a bigger boom. It's basically an up-close anti-tank role. Unlocks are bayonet, a semi-auto rifle w/ scope for Marksman class, an Automatic rifle for russians and a MKB42 for Germans. That's all I know of anyways!

@thedigitalbug Well, two reasons: 1.) The video is already 24 minutes long. 2.) They are a bit more advanced classes and honestly I haven't gotten a chance to truly figure out the best way to use them myself just yet. Sorry I had to leave them out.

So what does the exclamation bar do, except screw up your vision a bit when it's empty?

@ankan2k4 The exclamation is your Suppression bar. When you are getting shot at, there is artillery nearby, a grenade explodes close to you, etc this bar goes down. Once it bottoms out it really screws up your vision, hinders your ability to aim, your character starts freaking out a bit and things like that. It's just a way to simulate people who would normally be scared for their lives being controlled by perfect virtual killing machines.

Great video - covers a lot of stuff people who might initially be frustrated by the game should probably know, especially that 'camping' is only a poor tactic if you're on the attacking team.. otherwise it's called defending.. and simply being smart about when it's advantageous to switch positions. Doing well in RO is all about positioning and timing, and there is much less emphasis on twitch ability IMO. Most people don't adapt their playstyle from COD or BF and get furstrated.

@Adam1927 Yeah it's just natural to hold sprint and just run run run until you find someone and try to twitch them dead. That doesn't work here unless you catch someone offguard and bayonet them (WHICH IS AWESOME)

@MightyWolve @MightyWolve The devs say some rigs work better than others for some reason. They are patching performance more here shortly. I would suggest turning everything on high and seeing if you still don't get like 35-50 specs. It might be one of those games (like BF:BC2 for me) that runs the same on ANY settings. If you get 30-50fps on all high I would take that over Medium personally :D
