Their love of freedom to have now illegal drugs is insane. I work in the legal system and see the hideous damage these drugs do and the expense to society by destroyed people. Why have that as a centerpiece in your "platform??" Also, I have not heard any criticism of the Dems or Obama. None. Just general terms of the size of government. When Obama is finished in another 5 or 6 years with his agenda, America is finished. Libertarians are part left wing lunatics and part conservative.
@Broadsidejohn The argument is that some of these drugs should be legalized. Once upon a time, alcohol was illegal, than that came to an end and the economy was much better. Legalizing them isn't the same thing as encouraging their use, you can discourage the use and still make them legal (as already done with alcohol), and many more people die due to alcohol.
They have criticized Obama, you're neoconservatism has just blinded you.
@IamCanadian3333 I am not a "neoconservative," which is code word on the left for "Jew who has left the Leftist reservation." Using your argument that we do with alcohol so thus we need to do with cocaine, heroin, etc. alcohol abuse is bad enough. Why do you feel the need to have more drug-addled creatures unable to become productive people? Who do you think is going to pay all your high taxes in the future?
@Broadsidejohn You're pretty much saying that the gov't should stop someone from doing something to themselves. That's way more Stalinist that what I've suggested. Hell, I bet there are people in jail who supposedly did a drug (which there are a lot of), who are very capable of being productive.
I'm not for an all drug "unban," however in the privacy of ones own home, I think they should be allowed to do what every they want, as long as it doesn't harm anyone else (even Palin says that).
@IamCanadian3333 So, have you pledged your life to Obama? Why don't you work in Canada to legalize all drugs and leave us in America alone? We with the Tea Party movement helped to elect some leaders with a love of our Constitution and Nation this past election. I am not a loyal Republican-we kicked out some of them too-but the Repub party is the natural home of Constitutional Conservatives. I used to be a Dem (30 years ago) but they have been taken over by Stalinists.
@Broadsidejohn it's funny I never promoted Obama, I actually oppose him. But saying that just proves your unintelligent, so the more words you put in my mouth, the more you make yourself out to be a dumbass ;). I'm actually a conservative, but nice try there ;).
And no, that's not what the republicans is, if it was there would be more Ron Pauls , but unfortunately they try too hard to shut him up. And you are a necon, and most neocons were once democracts, so you fit that bill nicely ;).
@Broadsidejohn we are a lot less lenient on drugs and I don't care what America does, I'm just giving my input.
And regarding the tea party, Ron Paul supporters were the ones that originally started the tea parties (fun fact), I never opposed it, although parts of it that have been taken over by the neocon I am opposed to.
If the repub party was what you say it was, they should oppose TSA, and the wars going on right now, yet they started them.
@Broadsidejohn And saying it's just democrats is ignorant and makes you look like an idiot. Bush already did enough damage, you guys don't need more with Obama. Please elect a third party that is outside the left-right.
Kind of dishonest to put Obama, McCain and even Ron Paul in the tags and details but leave out Ralph Nader, who is featured in the video. How fair is that Mr. Nader, who is in the same boat as the Libertarians in terms of being excluded from the presidential race? Barr isn't going to win this election no matter what, but Nader's gains are Barr's gains in terms of trying to open up debates and media balance.
Your vote for Libertarian Presidential candidate Bob Barr is 'guaranteed' to improve America's future! If he gets at least 5% of the popular vote in this year's election, his party's Presidential campaign in 2012 can receive millions of dollars in voluntary taxpayer funds. It will also automatically qualify to be on state ballots, thereby avoiding long and costly signature petition drives. So do the 'most patriotic good' with your vote, help America build a 3rd major political party!!!

Bob Barr is okay, however there are a few worrysome things in his record. I'll be casting my vote for Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party. Chuck Baldwin is a strict constitutionalist just as Ron Paul is. As a matter of fact, Ron Paul has endorsed Chuck Baldwin for President.
I like Baldwin, but he makes much to do about the constitution but then says that marriage is between a man a woman.. I'm not to sure where it says that.
I tend to agree with the constitution party for the sole reason that they are pro-life, however the fact that they mention j-sus as a savior in their platform immediately disallows me to support them, and beyond that small government constitutionalists need to unite under a single party if we are to make any significant impact on the two-part beast currently in place.
How? How do you make people understand? I do admit though. I was blind just like them. Untill I met Ron Paul. I understand his message.. Some people dont

lestliness, Baldwins position on marriage is that the government has no right to regulate it.
