If you like the challenge and don't mind farming, you'll be putting in over 200 hours. There are weapons with their own controls, and learning curves: Long Sword, Switch Axe, Great Sword, Sword & Shield, Hammer, Lance, Bowgun. 18 boss monsters, all of which are needed to make armor/weapons. Special "event" quests that change every 3 days. Crafting

Right now my best armor is low-rank rathian and Lagiacrus parts upgraded to their high rank levels. I'm starting to create high rank armor and I was thinking about ingot + armor for the guard, wind res and the other skill I can't remember. I just turned HR 46 , is this a good option for alatreon or Deviljho ?

Take a picture of ANY western styled dragon and you basically have the same as this. While Alatreon does look badass, It could have been way better. Just my opinion on the matter.
