While their hearing may be more acute, that'd be in that their range of hearing is better. They can hear a higher range of frequencies.

thats my minature daschund right there we always bring her with us to the beach when were at the cottage during summer, she digs holes. last year she was on a long leash and she walked to other people on the beach asknig to be petted. so cute

collars are TERRIBLE for daschunds backs. Harnesses give more back support and pull from all over, not just the back. You should have been told this upon purchase.

I didn't know that thanks for telling I have a daschund myself and we've been lately straping the leash to her collar since she is reluctant to the harness thank you for telling this.
