I've noticed you can manipulate your turtles color by doing these gelatin feeds. For example, red dye in a feeding cube gives your turtle a red shell/skin tone. I have read a few recipes online and am excited to start feeding him these.. I hope he takes them. Right now the only thing he goes for is goldfish, which is a habit I don't want to get into.
you prepare those cubes yourself? I'd be interested in the details. I'm currently feeding my chicken necks and crawfish tails. His growth has been impressive
