I've heard David talk about this and as one of thousands of people that watch those videos and read hundreds of X-files fan fiction, I'm glad he got it. I don't live in his world but I'm happy he and Gillian finally understood how we see them. It's surprising with the mass of material out there that they didn't but maybe that wasn't something they cared about. After all, they are real people. :)
