@FieldBoy111 Yeah, an IPSC super has a lot more kinetic energy than the .40 due to the velocity. Those plates are AR-500 steel and withstand most pistol calibers, but a good rifle will zip through them since rifle bullets have even more velocity.
What's the most popular calibre for IPSC in the US? I was thinking about getting into the sport we're limited to .38 because of our laws in Australia tho.
.38 super looks alot more destructive on that plate rack

In the US the most popular calibers in Open Division, .38 Super & 9x19. For Limited, .40. For Production, 9x19.
There's a good group of IPSC shooters in Australia-- I met several at the last World Shoot. They mostly shoot Open or Production due to the laws..
