  • i love how he grins when he gets food in this scene and goes all nom nom at eggiewegs

  • OMG THIS WAS MY FAVORITE PART XD

  • He's like a baby bird!

  • damn psycho pedophile criminal homicidal murderer etc. alex... its a good thing that nowadays predators have predators on them, I call it bullys for bullys LOL.

  • Tortures of the damned, sir. Tortures of the damned.

I love how Alex is so sure of what he is saying; he's so sure that he is right!

  • :O

  • Bad Politicians deserve to go to prison.[*!*].

  • why take out the ending!?!!?@!?WEdw]kragpbgop[djbzerntdfbc vkn

  • @MrBurgundy76 Because Kubrick did the movie based on the american version of the book, which at that time the last chapter was not included. Also Kubrick thought it was more realistic this way...

  • @tcthejack no, im aware of that, i was referring to the ending of the movie not in the video

  • ah the politicians

  • NOMNOMONBOMOMONOMOM

  • WOT JOB AND OW MUCH. ._.

  • I wish they hadn't cut out the (real) final chapter from the book.

  • @hpotter103 What is it?

  • @rockman22 In Anthony Burgess's novel, the final chapter of the book has Alex released from the hospital. He decides that his violent tendencies were simply a passing phase, and sets out to try and meet a woman so he can start a family. This ending was cut from the original American editions of the novel because the publisher thought it weird the Alex would make such a quick turn around. If you buy a copy of the book today, the final chapter should be there.

  • @hpotter103 Interesting, not sure what ending I like better actually.

  • you cut out the best part you old bastard

  • there's some bold symbolism going on here with a government official feeding and apologizing to an ignorant and sarcastic ward of the state, but i'm WAY too high to comprehend it.

  • @enyart91 what does your comment have to do with the video?

  • The mouth open is fucking incredibly hilarious.... synonimous to the government feeding its people bullshit, maybe? I don't know, who cares?! What a great fucking movie!

  • If I'm ever crippled in an accident, I'm going to have the nurse feed me and chew just like Alex. XD

  • awe I love when he just pops his mouth open!

  • OM NOM NOM.

  • Does he look like Meryl Streep? O.o

  • Is this guy supposed to be the Prime Minister or just some lackey?

  • @MrBranagain i think the minister of the interior or something, its been awhile since i've read the book

  • You cut the best part at the end...

  • I found this to be a happy ending...is that intentional? lol

  • @Zando24 I think the statements of the movie are profound, just as much as how someone interprets them. You might notice with a careful examination of the movie that, such things are much more common -today- then when the movie came out, and even more so then when the book was published. Perhaps Mr. Burgess, the author of the book, was trying to warn us of this very thing? I also think that, the answer to your question lies in how you interpret the entire movie.

  • @XsaadowX I think it depends on if you think people should behave the way they truly are, like Alex did at the beginning and very end of the movie, or if people should conform to the standards of society. If you think the first, then the ending is a happy one, since Alex reclaimed his "true" self. It's a sad ending if you feel that Alex living peacefully with society was the best way for him to live. Since he lost that, and revereted back to his less civilized life, its unhappy. Only my view

  • @Zando24 That's a very good point! I'd like to offer more perspective on this. Consider how well Alex living peacefully with society went! Everything he did came back to him, it tried to destroy him! That may make people consider more. Some may feel sorry for him; he was reeducated! Others may think it's justice! It's -rife- with the potential for different points of view. Another thing, what -is- how Alex truly behaves? Is this intrinsic? Or is this possibly a design of his socialization?

  • @XsaadowX Yep. All great, but unanswerable questions. That is part of what makes the film so brilliant. It is that any one of those questions can be answered in different ways, and they are all equally valuable. It's open to interpretation, alot like 2001 is. The whole idea of whether Alex is a being treated fairly or not, is one such example like you said

  • :O

  • I came here to see that couple fucking on the snow while random 16th century rich people were clapping at them... and it isn't here, fuck you man

  • ....I was cured all right.

  • One of the best actors I've ever seen.

  • I like how suggestive of the situation opening his mouth that last obnoxious time is, how the tables have turned and the thought and advantage through alex's mind.

  • It's too bad they could'nt have ended it like the novel witch is like this but goes one part further. Alex forms a new gang after his release but soon realizes he's out grown his violent ways, runs into one of his other gang mates now married and settled down, Alex desides he wants a family of his own. But questions if he has a child will his child have the same violent ways. Probably didn't put that in due to running time

    Oh Well.

  • @Breen31173 Actually that was the ending of the British novel. When Burgess was trying have his book published in America the publishers thought that the last chapter was written to make it moral and that Americans can take the truth that some people don't change. So at first in America it had 20 chapters instead of 21. Kubrick was given the American version of the novel by a friend and wrote the screenplay based on that. Later when he found out about the missing chapter he didn't like it anyway

  • @BloodTearFantasy Wow I wasn't aware of this interesting I have to say I like the idea of him reforming his old ways but getting bored of it.

  • you cut off the best part

  • hahaha ese wey ncho chom chom chom Ncho

  • This reminds me of michael vick

  • @PatrickSing You mean like how his "rehabilitation" is just a disguise for the fact that he's still a twisted sadist and is only acting good by involuntary means? Interesting.

  • Nom nom nom nom nom.

  • hahahaha 3:30 xD EPIC

  • weirdest movieever

  • Do they fix him back to normal again?

  • @dimmuborgir82 No, his brain gets reprogrammed back to criminal.

  • @hotathlete2 lol thats what i was meaning because he was criminal to start with. Criminal=his normal.

  • @dimmuborgir82 THey fix him back to normal allright ;).

  • What's the ending of the book? Spoil by MP

  • hahaha, i love this scene :)

  • His jaw must have hurt after this.

  • @TheHairyjellybean I call them that now.

  • 2:59 Alex's little head dance xD

  • wait so how does it end?????

  • @LexTheDino They reversed his treatment. Thats why the psych lady came and evaluated him, and thats why he answered as he would have before the treatment. And that is why he is freely listening to Beethoven and imagining sexual stuff at the very very end.

  • @rsewthefaln oh thanks!!! haha

  • God, I love his style of chewing!

  • 1:33....is the face im going to make if i have to be fed.

  • When Alex is asked how he's feeling by the Prime Minister, he replies with the exact same words he says to the Counsellor who talks to him in his room. A sign that he has not changed or reformed, just returned to what he thought was normal. Clearly a departure from the book, especially the ending

  • @TheNEWfilmfanatic99 Its all a matter of Interpretation

  • "i'v suffered the torchs of the damn sir, torchs of the damned"

  • NOM. NOM.... *opens mouth* NOM...NOM....NOM...

  • ludwig van of course

  • :O

  • THEY SHOULD HAVE ELECTROCUTED THE BASTARD.

  • @jacksonteide lol well that's the point of the movie....the government actually give him a position and a salary...knowing he is an obvious psychopath

Also notice, his two drooges, who also has psychopathic personality traits were made into police earlier on in the film

Kubrick was whistle-blowing through this movie

  • this helps me sleep......for some reason

  • when i wake up in the middle of the night...hahaha genius!!

  • with my ex bf we used to play to eat like that... SOOO FUNNY!

i think its my favorite part of the movie... plus, HE WINS! he was so bad and he wins, UNIQUE!

  • the guy in the suit reminds me of chancellor palpitine from starwars

  • I thought he was cured because perhaps when he jumped out the window, he hurt his head quite bad. Therefore he forgot the treatment? This is my inference so don't troll on me.

  • @IkilledChocolate Do you remember when he told the psy. that he dream that people were messing around in his head. Well that really happened and they fixed him, which is why he had a room all to himself.

  • 3:27 never fails to make me laugh!

  • "I've suffered the tortures of the damned, Sir! Tortures of the damned."

  • "Alex...if I may call you Alex?"

"Oh that's very well sir! What do they call you at home?"

    "Krhm, my name is Frederick!"

bhahahaa.. did you see the suit guy's face? XD

  • Man that guy is corrupt. What a great ending!

  • lmao "and lovely steaky-wakes" My favorite movie by far.

  • he has the most beautiful, pale blue eyes <3

  • The best metaphor in film takes place between 3:30 - 3:36 , but the greatest thing is that its' absolutely hilariousat the same time.

  • Am I the only person who noticed he had orange juice?

  • Pretty much.

  • so, he is back to being to hes evil sadiric self again rigth??

  • what job? and how much?

  • hahahahaha we always help our friends ddont we "opens mouth"

  • That's sooo damn funny. DIdn't pay much attention to the way he eats when I first watched it... After a few more times I realized this is probably the funniest thing in the whole movie hahaha

  • HOW WAS HE CURED??

  • @kukidoe1 after he jumped out the window to escape the write and and the Beethoven, he was taken to the hospital. While he was there, they tinkered with his brain and undid the anti-violent behavior.

  • @kukidoe1 Because he was a violent person and they tried to "cure" him by making him physically ill at even the thought of violence/bad behavior by forcing psychological treatment on him at a special center..by using the "ludoviko technique"..and now he was back to normal..so alex is saying now that he is cured of what the treatment did to him and back to normal

  • his mouth is so big

  • Greatest dialogue to the greatest ending to the greatest movie ever. The clockwork functioning of society portrayed in all its boring glory

  • XD He Is So Cute In Dis Scene XD

  • Hi hi hi there my little droogies!

  • "What job and how much?" Haha

  • Stanley Kubrick was bored during this scene, so Malcolm McDowell began improvising, by eating in a funny way.

  • It is said that Heath Ledger based his Joker on Alex Delarge. In that scene, it's pretty obvious that he was inspired for his mouth thicks, no? :P

  • haha eggy weggs :D

  • i love the way his toes wiggle. and his face. and the calm way with which he says "i have suffered the tortures of the damned".

  • Haha, he's so fuckin' cute when he opens his mouth.

  • He reminds me of a baby bird the way he eats in this scene.

  • "I've suffered the tortures of the damned, sir. Tortures of the damned."

Alex says that so calmly and assuringly, lol.

  • favorite ending. kubrick's genius. favorite movie of all time

  • funny as fook...tourtures of the dammed...lol and when he opens his mouth!!! and when he chews lmao!

  • Tortures of the damned, indeed.

  • This scene has strange, trance-like qualities. I can't watch it without being ultra-relaxed.

  • What I love about Alex is his ability to be confident, wise and silly after all that has happened to him. I can say that this is my favorite movie and book.

  • he is confident, the crazy thing is that's all a human needs.

  • LOL @ his wiggling toes! n_n

I always have a difficult time paying attention to the minister during this scene because I get distracted by Alex's bizarre eating, bahahaha.

  • Surprise? lol

  • Hahah! Pause it at 1:33! :)

  • brilliant

  • aushuashaush É a melhor cenaa kkk!!da hora!!

  • hahahah 3:30 soooo funny

  • oh, by the way, i've suffered the tortures of the damned, sir....tortured of the damned!

  • im so glad someone else thought the way he eats is fucking hilarious!

  • best scene of the movie lol

  • @Joehand87 yeah, his chewing is a great microcosm for his animalistic ways. And it's also pretty damn funny.

  • @Joehand87 Nothing like a bit o' the ol' steak'y wake's and eggy weggs!

  • In the book, the "subversive writer" is actually authoring a book called A Clockwork Orange. It's funny that the author gets put away at the end....

  • 3:25

  • that's the best part, hands down. every time i watch it i laugh for like 30 seconds. hahahaha
