  • You know I had a wild bird (not sure what kind) fly into our porch and get stuck in it so I had to catch it and when I eventually did it stopped freaking out and hung out with me there for a few hours. I opend the door several times to let it go but it didn't leave lol. Eventually it left but it came back to see us a few times that winter before it left. Haven't seen it since. But it's surprising to see how calm animals can be if you treat them with respect. They can tell when you won't.

  • My guess is that he was raised by the same people that live in that area. Otherwise he was a pet from someone else an they left him there cause they couldn't take care of him. I know a mean thing to say but it does happen but he is of age to be able to take care of himself AND he also knows how to MOOCH from passers by. LOL. All in all you did make a friend. Most ravens are sociable but this one was way too sociable. He knew you had food and he followed you around like a pet.

  • Aww, it's cute. (:

  • I think you are very lucky to have met such a beautiful creature :) And if you look up Raven symbolism you may be surprised. They are not the negative creatures people tend to think they are! Koodos dude this is something you will remember for the rest of your life.

  • You pet a raven. You are now officially appointed to badass.

  • He likes the knife because its shiny

  • I watched all your raven videos and I found them very amazing! Perhaps you are a reincarnation of the norse god Odin who had 2 ravens as pets, they were named Huginn(memory) and Muninn(Thought) You must know how to speak the tongue of animals haha, did it have a name by any chance?

  • i htink it was a pet raven and is looking to another human to feed it since it dosent really know how to fend for itself, but its just a guess. awsome video htough ^_^ really makes my day

  • Thank you for all these videos. It looks like it was a seriously awesome experience.

  • What a lovely Raven, wish to meet a friendly Raven like he/she is.

    Notice how I called them "he/she"? :D

  • what's in the glass? alcoholic drink? just kidding

  • this is awesome!

  • never seen a wild animal behave like that before, been followed by ducks and geese that thought i had food, but the raven let you stroke it which is bizarre, you obviously have some kind of animal magnetism.

  • haha it was actually listening to you when you told it to jump on the table or to follow you, i would've tooken it home with me

  • all these videos are amazing

  • I want a familar! It could ride around on your shoulder too...

  • Love the videos about the raven, it could of been like a movie if you would of seen him more and more.

  • you: "I'll cut you!"

    him: :V

  • I think you should have showed him/her where you live and I bet it visit you more often. :)

  • Did you name the bird? too bad you got kick off that place.

  • Did you ever name the bird?

  • someone somewhere is missing their pet black bird ...

  • What a charming little bastard....

  • These vids are so awesome! What a cool experience! :o)

  • bitch gimme yo sandwich Quote the raven

  • "Youre a weird bird dude".. He might be saying "I want the rest of that fuckin sandwhich.."

  • It looks like it likes you, you should have kept him as a pet. :)

  • im telling you, every time he looked in the lens, he was telekinetically saying (if you feed me, i will bring you money, just teach me...)

  • 7 people didn't see the other videos first.

This is awesome. You're bird is beautiful. I'm glad the world has people like you.

  • He's hungry, thats why he follows you. Anyway, rly cool, I hope I someday meet a raven like this. rly amazing.

  • You're a very sensitive and funny guy towards ravens.

  • its amazing how unique and overall awesome this raven is. Consider yourself lucky, the ravens around ehre would peck my eyes out if i got near them!

  • @R0ckerGam3r might be my favorite comment EVER. I actually printed a copy.

You need to listen to the Melvins song Hooch. Again. It's on youtube.

    Nice rewrite!

    Bravo!

  • sux u were on a motorcycle

  • You must read some Edgar Allen Poe to that raven next time....

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,

Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore--

While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,

As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.

"'Tis some visiter," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door--

    Only this and nothing more."

  • What an odd bird..makes me think maybe he knew you from another life..just very strange but really special. Do you still see this bird around?

  • Did you ever see this guy again? He seems really fond of you

  • notice how he walks from table to table never taking flight due to his raptor instincts

  • This raven has balls, big ones too

  • In Soviet Russia, blade ravens you !

  • Did you get back to the same location to meet him again after some time?

  • @Raptorel was on private property. got kicked out, never made it back.

    never saw my friend again.

    taught me to say goodbye.

  • @snardlefarb That's sad. These are amazing videos, thank you!

  • @snardlefarb You need to get back man, it's been 1 year+, maybe you can get on this "private property" again? :P

  • @snardlefarb that probably explains it. Private property. Probably got tamed by the owner at some point?

  • @demonjack123 It was an archery range. No one was there but the bird on this visit. Went back a couple more times to see if s/he was still there. No luck. Got kicked out on the second visit by a Ted Nugent wannabe with a crossbow. Told me to NEVER come back. Wasn't about to argue. As for the knife, it was a Frost Barracuda. Don't remember where I got it... Cheers.

  • @snardlefarb How did you know it was private property? And how did you get ther ein the first place? And thanks for the name!

  • @demonjack123 It was posted PRIVATE PROPERTY NO TRESPASSING and there was a cable and a chain across the road down to it. I've lived in the area my whole life and never tried, but on this day I went for it. Just turfed my little motorcycle around the roadblock and I was in. Glad I did.

  • @snardlefarb Interesting. Best not to argue with a man wielding a cross-bow =)

  • This is so very cool. Have you gone back to see the bird?

  • that thing had to be someones pet. Or else has hung out with many others in that spot. where is this exactly. i wanna meet him!

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaw lol so cute was this just some random bird that u chose to feed?

  • these get better and better!

  • lol "no more terrorism" *plane flying in background*

  • Damn that is one amazing raven! Great Video!

  • thats pretty kool! ur so damn lucky..... btw could u make the raven jump onto ur shoulder?

  • awesome!!!

  • this bird could have been your dead ancestors.

  • @JiuClaw22 scattered my grandma's ashes 2 miles from here...

  • @snardlefarb wow, maybe a gift from grandma? :)

  • @JiuClaw22 lol

  • @JiuClaw22~ Reincarnation is a load of (Hindu) rubbish. Jesus of Nazareth is the truth.

  • @marek0086 If reincarnation is a load of rubbish, why does the bible tell us that Jesus will turn up again? How can he do that if he isn't reincarnated?

  • @verticalsmurf~ Thats not reincarnation!.... Jesus has been alive all this time!

Reincarnation means u come back as something else!

  • @marek0086 dont talk shit about other religions

  • @ProblemForSolution~ why not?..... dont burst peoples bubbles with the truth??

  • @marek0086 its disrespectful... Just because you are christian that doesnt mean you can do whatever you want.If you are christian you would answer with respect towards other dudes religion. For everything in bible there is no evidence same as budism and other religions and that is why you believe, and in that you are same as them.

  • @ProblemForSolution~ No evidence?!.... haha ye keep dreaming pal!

  • @marek0086 ok can you tell me the evidences?

  • @ProblemForSolution He is probably just trolling.

  • @demonjack123 I dont know... too many religious fanatics these days hah. These are crazy times my friend

  • @ProblemForSolution Indeed.

  • @ProblemForSolution thank you very much Problem.

  • @snardlefarb Sry i had to argue with that guy but anyways... great video i really enjoyed it and I didnt know that ravens can be so friendly.

  • @ProblemForSolution i was thanking you for arguing. don't want crap like that in here. good job. glad you enjoyed it.

  • @marek0086 Oh wonderful. Now you've turned this ugly. Kindly keep religion out of this. It's a bird.

  • wow you should have taken this home LOL

  • No, not my backpack. god damnit!

  • That is so cool. I think that raven owns you...but that's ok. He looks like he knows what he's doing. ;)

  • on your other videos why diden't you show the raven

  • I agree. That raven seems too tamed.

  • i'd laugh he took the blade then pointed it against you asking for more food from your bag.. good think they're not that aggressive huh snardle lol

  • @ViLLaPiNoZ if it were so inclined, it could have flipped the situation in a flash, grabbed the knife, jacked my pack, and rode off on my motorcycle. i feel i was given some form of pass. my lucky day.

  • Comment removed

  • hahahaha that raven is gangsta

  • how do you get one as a pet?

  • Wow, that raven was heavier than it looked!

  • Somewhere I think people believe ravens to be spirits and spirit guides. Your so lucky I never seen a raven in person ever.

  • it must be someelses pet cause thats soo tame

  • maybe it used to belong to someone lol AWESOME BIRD!!! i love how they walk like mini dinosaurs lmao

  • espectacular

  • lol thats really cool. corvids are brilliant like this. They can be tamed RELATIVELY easily and theyre very intelligent. wish it was legal for ya to keep it dude. it liked u man :D

  • It a raven from ravenholm

  • @alpha1178 and no gravity gun :(

  • @snardlefarb aww dude, fucking shove that kid in the backpack(Y)

    Hahah and <3 from australia.

  • @ snardlefarb did you take it home bro? would be sick haha

  • @esseNtialMediaAU wanted to badly, but was on a motorcycle. so it goes!

  • @debz12180, watch my other clips. watch this one again, read the other comments. i gave it water and a sandwich. it was my friend, I treated it with nothing but respect, and it hung out with me for an hour. you are just another nasty judgmental human with no sense of humor, another reason i prefer animals to people. notice i didn't call YOU an asshole?

  • @snardlefarb You are an amazing person and the Raven knew it. ( I am saying Raven because of the tail shape and the color...Ravens are a blue black (or purple black) and their tails when spread out are triangular. Ravens are larger than crows and are typically only seen in parks, woodlands. You are blessed because they (Ravens) are generally shy...the crows are the social ones. Hats up to you hanging out with the bird as you did!

  • @pateho thanks for the kind words and support. it seems the raven/crow debate will never end. doesn't matter much to me, but find myself in the raven party.

hats off to me? hats off to the bird.

has taught me more than i signed up for.

  • @debz12180

    ... its a bird.

  • cute mother fucker XD an't he

  • over here in the UK we call them crows! I think their great, well funny!

  • DUDE YOU ARE SOOOOOOOO LUCKY!!! me and my mom LOVE ravens you are soooo lucky!

  • Dude, you and this raven are so funny together (especially with your commentary); you should have your own comedy show!

  • Wish I had a Raven I could train to perch on my shoulder as I walk around town

  • this bird is gonna drop a shankie on someone one day

  • omg hes training a raven to shank from above X0

  • dude, that bird is PSYCHO!

  • and stay with the crow?

  • That is awesome xD But I think that that raven may have been hand reared when it was a baby and then released or had grown so used to humans feeding it that it didn't care xD

It looks so cute when it just has it's mouth open beggin all the time lol

  • Loved that it just tilted it's head at the "I'll cut you!"

  • You think the raven wanted to learn how to open the bottle rather than drink?

  • i wasn't rational because throughout this encounter, the natural world wasn't either. i thought i did rather well considering, in my time on this planet, ravens just didn't do this. no birds did. but this one tweaked my reality. profoundly.

  • Thanks for the video and the insightfull comment, i think i may have learned something interessing.

  • Seems like he(or she) was imprinted on people.

But that is so freakin' cool!

  • that is so wild, what an awesome experience! did he ever nip at you? i remember the tour guide at theTower of London said the ravens there sometimes peck at people's eyes and fingers so i was scared to get near them when i was there

  • That would have been alot of fun! its fun when stuff happens like that and you get it on tape! i talked to a squirrel once, but it looked like it was frozen in fear.

  • started taking pictures. glad i switched to video.

always bring a camera, wherever you go...

as for freezing a squirrel via vocals...

did you greet it kindly with kissy noises and nuts, or did you unload your troubles on an ill-trained and unprepared denizen of the wilderness?

  • Ha, Ha. no i just saw it (i was 5-6) and started making hand gestures then i talked to it and it ran away.

  • He's cool with you! Seems you're on top of not feeding him too much so he remains able to feed himself. Wish I knew how old he was. Hope you have a long relationship with him.

  • speaking of squirrels my friend got attacke by one... but there still cute

  • Reminds me of a local squirrle. Little guy walks right up to me and politely plucks walnuts from my fingers and just settles down with me sitting right there. When he finishes that piece he casually saunters up for another. I can even toss nuts to the birds without spooking him three feet away.

  • its a young raven....maybe raised by human - then released or escaped i think !

  • had to be.

    this will never happen again.

    feel blessed.

    what a wonderful treat!

  • Haha Great!

  • It was probably raised by humans and released at an early age

  • i love that Raven

  • i bet people were staring at you like you are crazy because it look like you were trying to rob or stab a bird + talking to it lol

  • would have been, but there was not another soul around. just me and this nutty critter.

this spot is off most radars.

  • i swear is a human it sooo inteligent

  • i agree. it really freaked me out.

    in the best of ways.

  • You should have taken him home with you

  • what about a pet raven? That could be so cool... Ravens as pets arent allowed in denmark :(

  • dude take him home, lol

  • I think somethings wrong with the vid, it doesn't loads anymore. :C

  • try again.

  • Was that just a completely wild raven?

  • lol funny bird man!

  • im in love :D Nice bird!!

  • He's hungry.

    What a beautiful creature.

  • Thanks for all these great videos! I'm playing a Raven in a play and these videos really helped me learn their caw and physical movements. Great footage!

  • is the bird in your backyard

  • OH U DID THAT'S GOOD

  • This summer I worked outside and I learned that birds whatch you all the time and you can befriend them with a little treat and patience.

  • Its the main reason you see mostly crow-like birds i the cities these days, they are fucking smart, and lost their fear where they are not hunted, i always feed my old bread to the jackdaws here

  • Pretty cool!

  • why did you not kiss his forehead ?

  • aw this is so cute!

  • That Is Awsome!!!!!!

  • He has imprinted with humans.

I hope someone now takes care that he is taken care of. He is sweet, thanks for posting.

  • Yes, thats probably true. Look at stories about Pinguins or Kakapo's: the birds were not afraid at all, when they first met humans, they were just curious.

  • I liked that video. That bird is so cute!!

  • needless to say the world has considerably gone to shit since th
