People, healing can happen unlimited ways as long as your intention is there. It can happen even if the person is not talking with you live. Strange, but with more life experience you'll understand.

I tried this and when I said I love myself i moved forward.. when I said I hate myself i also moved forward.. I asked if my name was --- and I moved forward.. but when i asked if my name is lucy or some other name I also moved forward.. what is wrong??? I moved back when I said i was male and moved forward when I said i was female so thats right.. should I drink more water?

I have experienced the best healing results with Light Axis Healing. It always works perfectly for me. It goes way deeper than theta brain waves. Namaste.

Hi theta is OK but it isn't always that good. The courses are a bit unsatisfying and I felt the teachers are holding back and something is missing. It is important to look for and find healers that are a bit more centered and have a nice energy. I found a good one that does Light Axis Healing. Pranic healing and chi gong healing are also powerful for me.

One problem I've spotted is that positive and true are very different things. For instance, I try keep an open mind, but for now, I don't believe in theta healing. That said, "I do NOT believe in theta healing" is both a true and a negative statement, while "I DO believe in theta healing" is both false and positive. IF muscle testing truly works as you say it does, false positives and true negatives would likely muddy the results, with accuracy decreasing as obscurity of the statement increased.

Muscle testing works alright. Your brain tells your body which way it WANTS to go, nothing unique about it. It's not from "God" or some higher source.

@jamima444 1. You misunderstood my comments about muscle testing. Our very excellent brain controls motor function in our bodies, not God. Our brain controls our swallowing mechanism, our eye movements, hands, feet, toes, everything! That is my point! Some followers of Theta Healing and other modalities make all kinds of claims about God directing them to do one thing or another. While that may be quite true under certain circumstances, again, our brain is very capable of keeping us informed

@jamima444 2.Our brain alerts us when danger is near. When we see or sense a dangerous animal, we instinctively react; not always with the best decision, but we react just the same. As to muscle testing, when we’re asked (or say to ourselves) “I am a dog”. Guess what? Our very intelligent brain knows that we are not a dog, so we react…by whatever method of muscle testing we’re using.

@jamima444 3.I’ve muscle tested standing north, east, and every which way…to then move forward as if to fall forward for a “yes” answer, or backward for a “no”. I’ve done the finger and thumb touching kind of muscle testing. In my opinion, it’s not God giving us an answer. Might it be our conscience or subconscious mind at work? More than likely.

She claims to have naturopathic training thus her great knowledge about vitamins. False! She copies everything she does, and that's a fact.

@knarlybigfoot No one in Theta Healing as EVER said that muscle testing comes from God.... Where did you get that? Muscle testing is a well used methodology in kinesiolgy (yes, a well accepted medical practice) and simply indicates what a person BELIEVES subconsciously, nothing more. It's just a way for a person to find out for themselves what their subconscious mind BELIEVES to be true.

So this is kinda like lie detector test, but only with doing onto yourself....wonder if can do this with my husband. I also read you can take your pinky finger and thumbyour stronger hand and hold those two together to form a circle, then take your weaker hand and put your thumb and index finger together...put those two at the end of the hole of the other two connected fingers, ask yes or no question. push up on the two connected fingers. If it breaks easily, that's a no answer.

that is not how you muscle test or do kinesiology! no "yes/no" BS, a true kinesiologist tests for stress/no stress, trauma/no trauma etc and this takes a degree to learn

While I don't believe in the mystical "downloading" of beliefs, I do understand that if someone buys into that, it can help them relax their negative belief, thereby achieving the goal set forth anyway. I think this is a really good technique, and would only be improved with honesty - that it is more like hypnosis and less like telepathy (or whatever "downloading" is). I am going to have to try something like this on my usual beer pong partner.
