@nprbum I just got done reading up on the ds. turns out they still have judges. but they only prohibit actions not items and other stuff. so basically if you use something forbbidon example : haste. then the player that used it gets kicked off the feild. so it sounds like it could be good. still not as good as the original of course. aslo halo was fun for 5 matches then it got boring. not worth paying over 10 bucks for. starcraft 2 is where my money would go to for strategy games

Hell, maybe this is in the future, but all of the technology was somehow destroyed in a great war of sorts. It is implied throughout the entire story. It's most like FFXII came first followed by FFT. In regards to Cloud, Luso and Balthier: Cloud could have come when he was in a coma, Luso I have no real idea and Baltheir maybe a time loop kind of thing which would kind of explain why he needs the cache of glabados. It's my own thoughts, haha.

If you ask me, FFXII and FFT really don't have any sorts of connections. FFXII is not the only game which has advanced technology, FFVIII also has it. They probably just added Luso, Cloud and Balthier to gather more fans so they could wank at their favorite character.

Because he needs 2 learn one more move called "Ultima". To learn this u have 2 let him be in his original job class a.k.a gamehunter and let a monster use ultima on Luso. When cast upon, there is a 50% or 75% percent that he'll learn it and boom! You mastered that class! As to find a monster who will cast Ultima... there is two battles wit them monsters. One at Zalera with Celia and Lettie or the battle when fighting Zalbaag, with those demons aiding him. Let those demons cast Ultima on u.
Luso alone being in this got me to get this. Him and Marche are my favorites in all of final fantasy. Now Luso and marche need their own games again but this time maybe more adventre like K.hearts.(but the normal tactics and TA2 was epicly awsome)

The reason that they hadn't added new races was because they all had went extinct. FFT: WOTL takes place roughly 1200 years after FFXII and FFTA2. The Cataclysm occurred shortly after Ajora's execution and destroys most civilization, ending the Golden Era of Airships and Technology.
The Lucavi and the FF12 Espers are probably to blame
Humanity was saved by the Hero-King Mesa, though sadly that story was only explored in fandom.
Cameos, though, IIRC, The Cache of Glabados was mentioned in FFXII: RW. Other than that, they have the same significance as Cloud; no relevance to the plot or the time-line.
I heard somewhere that FFT:WOTL AND Vagrant Story are like at the very end of the Ivalice Timeline with nearly all the magic and other races gone...so it was like a new dark age.
I don't think it's a timeline, more or less a PLACE in ivalice. The area of Ivalice in this game, seems to be a -Western-continent which was not directly shown in XII, but it's geography implies that it is off screen. The world of Tactics Advance is seemingly fabricated, but Tactics A2 does have elements tracable from XII, and appears to be a large Island of sorts, South West of XII. Vagrant Story is implied to be North of XII's Continant. In short, Tactics-West, XII East, A2- S W, Vagrant - N E
then someone get ff12 rw and go liik at the map. i havent played it lalty and i cant remember the map for it, but it has the entire planet. (but not many areas on the surface world can be explored.)
The sky continant of Lemures is what you are refferring to, and that doesn't really go with the geography since... It's a "Sky Continant" Unless you are reffering to the Ivalice areas on the ground. I think they Used the map for XII, inwhich my theory is still relevant. Watch the Final Fantasy Retrospective on Ivalice at Gametrailers. It explains more clearly.

@ Nrt89Ske: "Game", in this context means "animal". "Game" is used in the context of hunting when referring to your desired prey, in Luso's case any monsters in the game (therefore he has innate Poach or Secret Hunt)
It's a real shame that FFTA2 plays so much better, but by that I mean it's a shame of how lazy the developers are for this game to have such bag lagg and sound issues.
Actually War of the lions still uses the PSX graphics, FFTA/2 has a more colourful approach and the sprites look way better, especially the portraits.
It's not disgusting. The characters are far more better here than in the DS version. Also, I believe that everyone knows that the graphics for the psp are a lot better than the DS while the DS is for fun childish games.

In the PSP version, when you have access to Riovanes Castle near the end of Chapter 3, you will automatically enter a battle when you walk onto the desert area. You can't skip this, so you will gain Luso once you win the battle. ^^;

The reason that they hadn't added new races was because they all had went extinct. FFT: WOTL takes place roughly 1200 years after FFXII and FFTA2. The Cataclysm occurred shortly after Ajora's execution and destroys most civilization, ending the Golden Era of Airships and Technology.
The Lucavi and the FF12 Espers are probably to blame
Humanity was saved by the Hero-King Mesa, though sadly that story was only explored in fandom.

Cameos, though, IIRC, The Cache of Glabados was mentioned in FFXII: RW. Other than that, they have the same significance as Cloud; no relevance to the plot or the time-line.

I heard somewhere that FFT:WOTL AND Vagrant Story are like at the very end of the Ivalice Timeline with nearly all the magic and other races gone...so it was like a new dark age.

I don't think it's a timeline, more or less a PLACE in ivalice. The area of Ivalice in this game, seems to be a -Western-continent which was not directly shown in XII, but it's geography implies that it is off screen. The world of Tactics Advance is seemingly fabricated, but Tactics A2 does have elements tracable from XII, and appears to be a large Island of sorts, South West of XII. The sky continant of Lemures is what you are refferring to, and that doesn't really go with the geography since... It's a "Sky Continant" Unless you are reffering to the Ivalice areas on the ground. I think they Used the map for XII, inwhich my theory is still relevant. Watch the Final Fantasy Retrospective on Ivalice at Gametrailers. It explains more clearly.

@animeoverlord69 The 400 Years of Truth refer to the 400 years between the end of FFT and Arazlam's writings. FFXII takes place in the year 706 Old Valendian Calender. FFT takes place in about 1936 O.V.C.
There's a timeline from Ultimania on Wikipedia, and a timeline thread in the FFXII section in the ffonline(dot)com forums.

@ Nrt89Ske: "Game", in this context means "animal". "Game" is used in the context of hunting when referring to your desired prey, in Luso's case any monsters in the game (therefore he has innate Poach or Secret Hunt)

Actually War of the lions still uses the PSX graphics, FFTA/2 has a more colourful approach and the sprites look way better, especially the portraits.

In the PSP version, when you have access to Riovanes Castle near the end of Chapter 3, you will automatically enter a battle when you walk onto the desert area. You can't skip this, so you will gain Luso once you win the battle. ^^;
