  • So, did Doc ever question the gaping whole in his wall?

  • As long as the music is Fraggle-y, the characters feel like themselves (Mokey is the flower child denmother who writes poetically insightful words of meaning, Wembley is the indecisively loveable kid who tries to not pick sides, Gobo is the stalwalt semi-fearless leader, Red is the adventurous daredevil who's best friends with Mokey & has a love/hate "relationship" with Gobo, and Boober is...well...Boober, as the doom-and-gloom pessimist), & the story's good, I should be content with the film.

  • The movie will--if the people involved and the fans have anything to say of it--keep the feel of the beloved international series, but wouldn't just be an extended episode. It would expand the mythos of the franchise, explaining why the Fraggles see things in a perfect and childlike way and why we human adults prioritize matters and subjects in "silly" ways.

  • fraggle rock is great i am 28 and one day outta the blue i just remembered it n typed it in, weird how things from our childhood can be scetched into our brains, isnt it?

  • This song is the best! Classic!

  • Fraggles were so cool. They look so drugged out though. Even though the Doozers were the best part of this.

  • "hey look Ma, I caught a Fwaggle!"

  • haha yeah that was the best part

  • Fraggles: The title species that loves to "dance [its] cares away"

Doozers: The green-skineed creatures that love to "work [their] cares away" in building structures made from radish cane (and Fraggles love to eat radish cane)

Gorgs: 12 feet tall giant beings from whose garden the radishes are harvested

Silly Creatures (Doc included): We humans

Sprocket: Doc's dog who is the only one--at first--to believe in the existance of Fraggles

  • @ ThereallRNO: Thank you!!! I used to watch Fraggle Rock back in the early 90's...but for the life of me I couldn't remember what the show was about! You have just made my night! Thank you so much!!! :D

  • FlowerGirl: Well, we could've just waited for the film to come out. Yes, the Fraggles are to get a feature film, which means that movie theatres would be going "Down at Fraggle Rock", courtesy of Muppet fan writer-director Cory Edwards, Fraggle ethusiant head producer Ahmed Zappa, overseers the Henson children, and of course, the "Fraggle Five" cast: Karen Prell (Red), Dave Goelz (Boober), Steve Whitmire (Wembley), Kathy Mullen (Mokey), and--if health willing--Jerry Nelson (Gobo).

  • i love the way their hair is all light and airy and bounes no matter what they are doing...along with their tales!! that is so hilarious!! i am 23 also and remember this ilke it was yesterday!!

  • a MOVIE...oh my goodness I am so there.....and I am 27...such a loser I am.....cast your cares away.....you know the rest!!!

  • I just hope they don't screw it up.

  • I miss this show SO much!!!! God, kids shows today DO suck (or at least, most of them do). I miss the old days. X3

    Down in Fraggle Rock.

  • forced to agree with you, the kids shows these days look completely stupid

  • I LOVED this show! I still have the book "Mokey's Red Sweater" and will never part with it.

    Fraggles rock!

  • wow. I must have been old when this was on. I am 30 and my sister is 33 and we still talk about it all the time. either that or you guys have very good recall from when you were very young. how can that be?

  • i am 28 and my sis is 33 and we still reminisce about fraggle rock as well.

  • vqutierrezs: How can you be 28 and your relative 33 when FR aired from 83-87? You must've been really big Henson fans then. As are the rest of us, I'd like to think.

  • try looling up TRAP DOOR INTRO.... old school cool!! God bless Chris Moyles for reminding me of my childhood......

  • The little green guys were dozers. I loved this show. Why do kid's shows now suck?

  • Oh man, I'm in the young 80's crowd (only 17) but I still remember watching reruns of this show as a little kid!!!! That intro was so catchy :P

  • I'm also 23 and remember this FONDLY! what were those little green guys called?

  • all i can find is the intro!

  • I'm 25 and can still sing along with this. God I miss this show. I want my childhood back. >_>

  • So true..I miss the 80's.

    I can't believe how familar this is to me still at 23. From the moment I saw the dog I had Fraggle Rock flashbacks, and now the 80's child in me wants to be first in line to see the upcoming FR movie. ^-^;

  • They're making a movie! Sweet! We 80's children finally get to go back...

Fraggle at the end of the intro: Down in Fraggle Rock.

  • Me too! I'm 25 now and I feel like I've jumped in a time machine and gone back 20 years. . . the 80's were great, so much better than the times we're living in now!

  • I watched this show when I was 3-4 now Im 23. I just typed this thinking it wasnt here and there was like 20 of them.
