the reason why jimi is awesome, is simply because he never gave a shit about anything. the only thing he loved doing was playing guitar. i dont even think he gave a shit about the audience. he just cared about the sounds he created, because thats the only thing he felt. he didnt care much about politics, management, money. he just cared about women, drugs, and freedom. yea he knew what he was doing, he was having fun. and creating something legendary in the process.

Heard this track for the first time in a smoky basement, in the early 80's, played at full blast. Lets just say he MoOOved me!

This is one of a handful of songs that sends chills up my spine every time I hear it. Hendrix was a perfect storm: beautiful skewed sense of rhythm, a (super)natural sense of harmony and absolute control of his guitar . Many guys have technique but it is rare that someone takes a tone that is essentially ragged and shapes it into something so jarringly beautiful.

one thing i always remember bout hendrix is that he did not seem human at times..he was quite small, but he always looked bigger...this was especially when you've seen him come and go..the further away the bigger he looks, other people fade but he stayed the same...look for it you'll see what I mean, Hendrix could be seen from miles away..still being the same.

also he did not walk regularly,he hovered..ask his early buddies..they know....and look for his Swedish son who inhereted it.

Meaning the user needs to have complete confidence in his or her skill, consequently the potential of said skill is infinite and with out boundaries. @hafrox There Is about 3/4's of the song on Hendrix band of Gypsys Live at the Filmore East 1999 Official release but is more like a Documentary. That release is shot from about the angle this is shot from. Judging from the Postion i doubt its just private. However, there are some Boots out there so one never knows. The Hendrix estate is re-releasing in April the Filmore East performance so Hopefully they'll cut out the Bombs..They do have have the Entire two performances on Film.
