I've heard a lot of people suggest Myles Kennedy as a replacement in VR, but I just dunno. I like Myles, but I don't see him as the heir apparent to Scott. Chris Cornell, maybe? I was thinking Sebastian Bach, but I don't know that he brings the intensity that's needed for songs like Fall to Pieces, he's more class clown. That's fine in the proper context, after all, it's only rock n roll, but I don't see it happening here. What about Paul Black, former LA Guns singer?

I don't think it's a fair thing to compare different people singing a song. Sure, there are some people that can pretty much sing any song better or equal to the original singer. But every song written/performed by the originally intended vocalist has meaning and what you hear from them while performing it is about as real as you can get infront of others. Be open to any performance you hear and put yourself in the life of whom you are listening to with the that opportunity you have. -rjd

Will people stop arguing about who is better between Scott and Myles. They both have very different vocal styles and they're both really good at what they do. I've been a fan of Scott for years though, STP, his solo work, and VR. So he wins the vote for me. I'm sure it will still be good with Corey or Myles but just not the same (In my opinion), Scott was perfect for VR.

Weiland and STP, 19 years after their debut album can still sell more seats than any Myles' project. Scott's voice is better, period. Yeah, maybe Kennedy can hit some higher tones now, but let his voice go through all Scott has... then come talk to me.
