Basically the lead is the man who left his family in HK, for a better career in in Shanghai. Then he narrates that long time ago that ppl around here(China) wished to get to HK for better life, but now HK ppl are backflowing to the Mainland. His co-worker told him that his family are like the news: you won't care or miss about them until you went aboard.

After we seen him made a ph. call to his daughter the scene switches to HK. As the custom officer asked him where did him return from, he narrates that he didn't view HK as such before, but after all his best memories, as well as things that he most cherished about, are all in here(HK), as he reunites with his family.
