Hey, i'm having problems.

I have a 90 minute video on a DVD-r 16x CD

I have copied the CD and put it on my hard drive, but it doesn't show up as a video file, it shows up as a 'file folder'

and inside that folder it has 2 other folders that say 'video_ts' and 'audio_ts'

what i'm trying to do is get the video on the CD onto my computer, then onto ANOTHER CD.

I have tried just burning the file onto a CD, and that won't work.

please help!!!!

That particular disc might be corrupted. Happens quite easily. Count yourself lucky - it seems to me that they prefer keeping hold of a corrupted disc rather than spitting it out straight away. I once spent the best part of a whole day trying to get out one particularly messed up DVD... It was making unnerving noises as well.

As far as I know it's the hardware, not the software, which can read certain discs and not others. If you have an older model it might not recognise some types of disc.

Hey you know you can just double click the DVD icon on the desktop, drag files into that Finder window, and click burn. Or, you can go to Disk Utility and do it.

Just wondering, when I convert files to dvd with visual hub the quality is always "tiny" although my avi file is DVD quality. I tried removing the check mark in author as DVD as it then permits me to slide the slider to standard quality, when it is done the files are not in .iso format but rather .vob file... Any idea why?
