@qpSubZeroqp Mars is the way it is because it's core cooled, and it lost it's magnetosphere, which lead to it losing it's atmosphere, which means everything dried up and froze. There is no way for humans to cause the Earth's magnetosphere to disappear. Earth's core will never cool because our moon's pull flexes it. Friction = heat. Earth will never look like Mars while humans still live on it. Maybe when our Sun becomes a Red Giant, but we'll all be gone by then.
