Matthews is one of Hillary's "kneecappers" and everyone knows it.
He sounds like he is using a play from the rabid conservative play book.... Which is to say, "get rid of the Kneecappers" while being a Kneecapper himself.
Where are you getting your news from? The phrase the Clintons referred to was an answer to a similar attack by Obama's friend while running for MA governor, which he won. When Clinton attacked Obama's strength of giving inspiration, Obama cited well know inspirational speeches just like anyone would, and just like his friend did. That's not "stealing."
Hillary was the one who was imitating every good phrase Obama said.
I agree with her she is trying to keep people grounded we don't need to be set up for another fall like what happened when we got on board with bush, it just takes to long to recover from these horrific losses we have had to endure, and I know myself I do not have the energy to buy another DREAM, I want to know me and my children are going to have a safe and healthy future for the rest of our days on earth, I don't think that's asking for to much.
I'm not voting black or white, male or female, Democrat or Republican. I'm a middle aged white female Republican and I am voting for the best candidate, who happens to be a black male Democrat. Barack Obama was raised by a white mother and an asian stepfather. He's experienced all races and has come out of that a fair and balanced person. Read his book The Audacity of Hope; you will see that he's not a Democrat or a Republican. He's an American, and he has solutions to our problems. Vote Obama.
I couldn't agree more. When voting for Barack, I don't think twice about his gender or race. I believe he can best lead our country. The Audacity of Hope is a great book and I wish more people would read it.
Nice case for Hillary's candidacy! She's worked in virtually every sector of professional America, and always excelled. That's the kind of woman we need.
The funny shit is that you probably really have never used the words "status quo candidates" until you heard it on TV or watched on the net. Falling right in with the same people who talk about their candidate representing them with the words HOPE and CHANGE.
THANK YOU! If you have already VOTED to support Obama and don't get discouraged if your state didn't put Obama at the top: Wondering what else YOU can do? How YOU can make a difference? How YOU can have your voice HEARD over the chorus of cynics? Visit Obama's website and DONATE your support. Email this video to EVERYONE. Post it on blogs. CHANGE is happening NOW America. Be a PART of it. Let's get it RIGHT this time. YES WE CAN! Obama/(Sebelius or McCaskill) 08
Hillary Clinton cant run her campaign effectively , how on earth can she justify her "ability" to run an entire country? She is supporting policies that will force the divide between rich and poor farther apart with MANDATORY UHC under threat of GARNISHMENT of wages and/or fines for people that cant afford it now. While I respect her as a politician - she is far too polarizing to effectively create consensus to get ANYTHING done in congress.
Obama isn't doing anything his biggest legacy in the Senate was voting "present", his speeches are all theatrics and generalizations that dont delve into real issues, and sheep lap it up. Oh and Clinton sucks too.
Obama is only effective when he can go give a demagogic speech in a high school gym. The only reason he won on Super Tuesday is the biased coverage of the media-the Obama campaign and his supporters know this-hents why they resort to trashing Hillary.
She's on the right path with the Solutions slogan now play that up to her base, hollow words of change vs. "improvement" ask which people want guess which they'll say?
Point out who's backing Barack rich elitists The Democratic party is hard working middle class & an advocate for the underclass Remind people of that The Repub. sank John Kerry by showing him as out of touch with regular folks As is Obama. Give them a reason to turn out, a promise of something she'll do in her first year for them
Mattewes made a good point. HRC seems so determined to win the nomination she will do anything, ANYTHING, to get it. That is percieved as selfish, stubborn, and most of all it undermines the voters.Probably one of the reasons why people are attracted to Obama because he's not apparently as "bullheaded" as HRC. I see how Obama is playing this out as the positive candidate.
Living in hope, dying in desperation. America needs more than just Corporate Democrats talking about hope. We need an end to Corporate control of the government. We need a change in the leadership of the Democratic party. And we need substance over platitudes. People can't eat hope they can't drive their cars on it and they can't deposit it in the bank. Our political leadership is failing and media hacks like Matthews and Mitchell just continue the farce.
How silly is to think a President can come to your house and give you all of that! You see, a leader is a symbol, a Symbol in this case that people assign to follow, I mean people want the HOPE and the CHANGE we have decided what we want even republicans are stealing the same word in their speeches to appeal to the people who chose those words to as the words to follow, WE THE PEOPLE are the corporations, WE THE PEOPLE are the ones being polled to decide what they use in TV.
Well gallomex13 I am having a difficult time deciphering your meaning but I believe the point is that those who are using the words hope and change are giving lip-service to them. They don't really mean it. Every four years candidates use the words hope and change. They are really status quo candidates that are lying to us. Get it?
The funny shit is that you probably really have never used the words "status quo candidates" until you heard it on TV or watched on the net. Falling right in with the same people who talk about their candidate representing them with the words HOPE and CHANGE.
gallomex13- we are not the corporations and much of TV both in entertainment and in the news is ment to manipulate the unsophisticated television viewer. We are not being told the truth or the truth is being twisted, ie. weapons of mass distruction in Iraq. wake up.
Well sorry to tell you but The USA as any other countries are corporations. They all work like corporations and they all work for the same shit profit. I mean of curse they are not telling us the truth but that hasn't changed for our whole history as humans, The church when they ran the Kingdoms lied, the governments lied, human fucking nature. Of curse WMD is lie I'm will never defend that.
If its human nature are you lying now? Is man naturally good or naturally evil? I think naturally good. The idea of a corporation is less than 200 years old. Corporations were only legallized in this country in 1913. You need to learn how to spell, read some history and try to communicate without using vulgar words. And frankly it seems you have little to tell me whether you are sorry or not.
wow talk about little to say are you ignorant to what a corporation is? maybe the word Corporation is 200 years old but the Idea behind the word is way older than than that go read about the Mayas or Egyptians even the Greeks find out were Corporations learn management from. Ones again another dumb fuck with narrow minded views.
"Resentment" yep chris, you hit it on the head. The american people love an underdog (look at the superbowl ratings this year), and her presumptive tone throughout the early campaign hurt her deeply. People saw her as smug with a sense of entitlement. If she goes negative, she better hope that Obama's folks haven't already worked out the checkmate. The ads in Wisco were telling, Hillary's was bus rolling B about debates, then O's points out there's been 18 and 2 more coming. Fascinating.
I don't think she can sell hopeful messages like her competitor. And she cannot come up with any negative attacks that mean anything. "Obama won't debate me in Milwaukee" doesn't count.
She's got to be herself. Her smartest move was using the word "solutions." It plays to her personality. Wonkishness is not always a bad thing, if you can make it your strength. That's really all she can do.
She's in a Catch 22 situation here. If she really attacks Obama, that could backfire once again.
I really don't have any advice for her.
She's got Ohio and Pennsylvania to work with. Texas, according to polls, is getting closer.
She could not be trying to claim victory in Michigan. She could say that Michigan should have a do-over with her and Obama on the ballot. Either Michigan has no delegates or there's a revote.
This is so very true and what she "must do". She needs to put a cap on how her campane is be worked. Get on real issues and tell what, how, where, and the reason why shes going to make a "CHANGE - GIVE HOPE- THE FUTURE". I have not made up my mind of who I'm going to vote on now. right now I'm not hearing or seeing anything I like from Hillary Clinton.
Do you know why OBAMA is huge 'cause he was positive and nice from the beginning that is why he will be my president, now if Hillary changes strategies and begins the niceness it will show how fake she really is, is too late your bullshit is real Hillary.
Andrea Mitchell is A. Greenspan´s wife, for Chrissakes!! THIS IS ALL THEATER PEOPLE!!! YOUR "CHOICES" ARE MADE FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!

Fact: Hillary Clinton used to be a lawyer
for WAL MART.
Fact: Hillary FAILED us on health care before
and took money for her trouble.
Fact: Hillary backed the war in Iraq right
up until she wanted our votes. Thats why
the media trashes her, she's a BITCH.
