That the IDEA that there is a god can be monitored. But it does not monitor god itself, and that's where the two are not comparable.
The closest thing humans have ever gotten to monitoring a god/spiritual experiences is through the "God Module," a tiny spot on our brain. There's a certain type of epilepsy that stimulates that spot of the brain. The people with said epilepsy are usually devoutly religious people. The GM is basically evolution's way of helping certain people cope with stress and anxiety. This would explain the need that some people have for following a deity.

When you have a thought about anything, the brain lights up. This happens when you think of other gods, like Odin, Zeus, Vishnu, etc. It even happens when you think of Santa Claus or a fictional character on TV. This only proves that you have brain activity. That the IDEA that there is a god can be monitored. But it does not monitor god itself, and that's where the two are not comparable.

There's a certain type of epilepsy that stimulates that spot of the brain. The people with said epilepsy are usually devoutly religious people. It was meant to help -early humans- cope with stress and anxiety on a basic level. Some needed it more than others (in the case of something like war.) This is why there are thousands of gods, as man feels the need to worship and explain the unknown. But then we also have people, like the atheist tribe in the Amazonian jungles, who don't have that need. It's a small, stress-free environment untouched by the outside world.

I came up with some simple guitar chords that seem to match the key that you are in pretty good while I sing in harmony with you. For now I just play a beat with the rap part right on the guitar. It's pretty good but is hard to keep time because you didn't have a beat to stay steady with.
