  • This is from a bigger Disney program or TV special from the 50s called the "The Wonderful World of Color!" This was to introduce how color TV worked. My aunt had the whole 30 minute show recorded!

  • I didn't know disney did this. Hahahhahhahahhahahhahaha!

  • I think Ludwig Von Drake hates the NBC peacock in the end LOL.

  • Ooh...what a showoff! LOL 3:35

  • I've got this song in Classic Disney Volume 1!!! lol

  • Does anyone realizes Ludwig von Drake is Carl Gustav Jung ? ;-)

  • Man I haven't listened to this song since I was in Elem. School. I'd been trying to find this song since 4th grade

  • Paul frees is the greatest voice actor to ever live. I love his work!

  • Ludwig had to be my favorite non-feature film character in Disney's lineup. Remembering this song got me through most of the boring bits in my color theory class last year :)

  • I remember I used to have like.. a book or toy with some of Ludwig's songs in them. I actually learnt quite a bit from this. Thanks for uploading :)

  • Holy Jebbus that is awesome. Thanks you , Zephyr.

  • Not the actual full song

  • never eat an APPLE in the DARK

  • Ahhh I love Paul Freeeeeees~ <333 Ludwig von Drake is my faaaavorite of all the Disney Ducks. Well.. Okay, second after Donald... but still. <3 <3

  • I love the gray white black part XD

  • I just relized: did he just throw a cello??? O.O strongest duck ever....

  • Love The NBC Peacock in joke.

  • Walt Disney must`ve been on crack...

  • As a kid, I mistook Ludwig for an alternate version of Scrooge.

  • @deckardcanine Ludwig Von Drake is Donald's Uncle.

  • Donald Duck has quite the large family. Scrooge Mac Duck is another uncle. :)

  • red blue n green make white? ok lemme remember that when i run outa white paint :P

  • @Poet0fDarkness666 Paint is different from light. Paint is a pigment. Light is a wave. When you mix several wavelengths (colors) of light together, it makes white. When you mix different colors of pigments (paint) together, the pigment absorbs some wavelengths and reflect others, giving off different colors.

  • @KoachKrab127 i know, i was being a smart ass lol

  • lol Professor Von Drake and Germany have the same name! XD lol *is a hetalian*

  • @TobiTheNinjaKitten Yay Hetalia *Highfives*

  • There is a much clearer version of this posted on my channel showing it in B&W and COLOR simultaneously.

  • Aw gosh, I found this by chance. I'm a Disney kid but I don't think I ever saw this. And gosh, it made me laugh so hard. I watched it maybe five, six times in a row the first time XD Ludwig really is just a great character.

  • His oculars are a perfect prism? That has to be HELL on his vision.

  • "Confidentially, he dyes his feathers" jejejejeje classic!!!

  • Brings a shining light to every face - Ludwig Drake and me!!

  • love this song!!!

  • How did Paul Frees do that gurgly sound on the "R"s?

  • @Veggieman87 Von Drake is German.

  • @MrLogoman007 I meant how do you make that sound? I've tried but it doesn't sound anything like that.

  • @Veggieman87 Put your tongue at the top of your mouth and roll.

  • The back of the tongue vibrates in the throat, not the Spanish r-roll. Carefully practice by gargling with water, then try less water.

  • @marasu66 Thanks! I knew it wasn't the Spanish "r", but I couldn't figure out how to do the "German r".

  • This was from the very first NBC telecast of "Walt Disney's Wonderful World Of Color" from September 24, 1961. The night before, NBC presented another television milestone with the premiere of "Saturday Night At The Movies".

Canada's CBC also ran this episode not long after they began colo(u)rcasting in 1966.

  • The Spectrum Song - Ludwig Von Drake (Paul Frees)

  • Interesting cameo by The NBC Peacock.

  • "HA HA HA. Did you hear that note? HA HA. It came out good. HA HA." -- That has got to be the best Ludwig Von Drake quote ever.

  • MAUVE! (:

  • i understand the light spectrum better on this video than in my physics class!!!!

  • i actually used to watch his show as a kid hahaha

  • LOL
