I recommend: Revel 1/72 scale tank, "T-72 M1" 1990's era Russian tank afaik.
Fun kit, has hard tracks divided into segments, single track for the curved parts of the track and a solid longer piece for the top and bottom parts of the tracks. Tip: make sure to not glue the track parts too tighly, but leave say 1/10 th millimeter spacing to achieve same spacing all over the track. Lots of details, some almost too small to practically glu on.
It's a nice piece, but why did you present it as a video? It would have been much quicker and in better quality if you presented the still photos in a blog. That way we could also magnify the most interesting ones. There are way too many slideshow videos on youtube allready, don't add to the sad situation.
@snowduck616 I hear you man but at the end of the day most people like seeing videos and upload they're own and if you don't approve you don't have to look at it.
Wow, looks like some serious fit issues with this kit, but I must say, your dilligence has ceratinly paid off! Superb final result. Now go make a P-47 and get your dad really quaking in his boots! :P
@MakingModelsAgain Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... :) Well said.. but I'll probably see a squadron of flying pigs loop the loop over Boxted Airfield before No.1 son makes a P-47, I'm afraid.. :)
Yeah the fit was a pain in some area's but nothing too bad! I've had worse... Maybe I'll do a P-47 one of these days you never know, may fancy a change after I've finished all my Tiger Meets :D Oh by the way thanks for the Christmas card haha
What a cracking job you gone did o son of the robbingtons ; D you got the decals spot on in the end (i was thinking while watching that i would'nt fancy doin them) and a happy new year to you ; D
Great looking plane, It amazes me how you didn't get wrinkles in the large tiger stripe decals, takes some skill to do that. Can't wait to see the F-16's, their my favorite plane!
@mrpinguguy Thanks man :D No everything I paint is with a hairy stick as I have no room for a compressor :( Maybe one of these days I'll free up some space...
@NaturalTwentyFilms Thanks very much. Its a constant - and usually a failing - battle against dust to keep all the paintwork nice and smooth. Nice to hear that it looks good :D
Your dad sent me.... subbed now, The goof never told me you had your own channel. Good to see you are back. Very good.
Got a request; As you are an expert on large decals.... ;^)
Could you do a tutorial on them? I expect you at least have some great tips. Like; "Buy two kits if you can get one at half price. You probably gonna need it."
@PuppyZwolle I did have to buy a second kit as I managed to stuff up the first attempt completely! Never mind...she turned out good in the end.
I'll give making a tutorial a go. I've never done one before and the kit's I have coming up next have a lot of decals but nothing large... I'll see what I can do :)
Welcome back! Nice model and great video. Shame that you forgot to take pictures of all building stages but it's still awesome model! I like the decals you didi a great job on that model!
Thanks to BasicModelling I saw your new model build video! 5****!
@tankman13p66 Thank's a lot. Since this new layout on YouToobe it seems easier to miss when someone posts a new video so I got Basic to help advertise and it worked!
@dreamspiritwar Yeah when you see it on the shelf finished you get a great feeling of satisfaction, makes all those hours and the occasional curse worth it :P
It took a while to get together, for obvious reasons.. but it was well worth waiting for! This is both a beauty... and a beast!! :) :) Will definetely have to build a Rafale now.. of some sort!! :) :) Your models have opened my eyes to other aircraft than old WWII stuff... :)
Nice kit and build. Very eye catching art work as usual with the Tigermeet stuff. Pity India has just decided to buy this instead of the Typhoon!
