  • @nirvanapixiesmisfits i have one ty for answering

  • do u need a distortion pedal or something to hammer on or just an amp ..??? cos when i try it the sound is very faint even if a bang the string on full volume on the amp ... plz reply someone ..

  • ok do hammer on on acoustics sound as loud

  • how do substain that sound cuz it fades after like 5 hammerons

  • i didnt get any of this i got to it from the tab site fret play and it still makes no sence!!!!

  • does this work without an amp?

because when i put down the second finger, it makes a VERY faint sound.

  • @Shakcountant not rly this is a technique used frequently on electrics...it also works on acoustic but as u said it is a "faint sound"

  • Thanks.

just play often.. i was bad to but ive improved:D

  • @K1rkHammet

    stroke the salami more often

  • @K1rkHammet

Long form major and minor arpeggios.

  • @K1rkHammet been playing for years and years now i find the only thing that helped me alot with moving fast what you do is just pick a fret slide from open to it and then play a small scale that you know repeat that over and over till you feel like hitting you're face off a wall when you hit that point you will be much faster haha.

  • @K1rkHammet i thought youre kirk hammet why do you need lessons

  • @K1rkHammet Try to turn around your guitar, maybe you're not handed what you thought you were :s

  • @Zam0rak41 lol... I am a beast now at guitar. But anyways, thanks for a 2year2late reply ! :D

  • @K1rkHammet Lol, wel I'm not, but what handed are you actually?

  • @Zam0rak41 I play the normal way ofc ! I fret with my left hand and pluck with the right hand as simple as !

  • @K1rkHammet just because about 90% of the world population is right handed, doesn't mean that is "normal" ;)

  • das ist gut für die die klein anfangen wollen Nice

    thanks for the hep!

  • your banging it down ehh? ;)

    im so immature :)

thanks tho. it helped me with my hammer-ons :)

  • This is a great lesson. I didnt know at the time, when I was learning to pick, these were hammer ons. I thought my self to play by ear. I set and practice this method for two days, till I could do it and keep in tempo to a song. I only need to learn how to do pull offs now.
