This is very good perfect clean playing man. WOW!!! I actually began to learn this song a couple of days ago with my new semihollow and with this you gave me some tips on how to perform some parts. Geting stuck on the fast parts though but I will get there. Again, good playing, good jazzy tone (for a strat) and thanks for the inspiration.

@Blubellfield i didnt use a real amp nor pedals for this cover, that was just my strat straight into a toneport ux1 and i used one of the presets on their amp modeling software

This cover is exactly as the 1964 recording, it's beautifully performed. The best cover of Django on Youtube. I love those variations of the different minor modes; tonic melodic minor, harmonic minor and natural minor. Great job Pat.

How do you set your strat for the jazz tone?

i set a little gain and eq'ed by boosting bass and medium. i also set up the tone knob on the strat to achieve a more jazzy sound. hope this helps!
