I went snorkelling right from the beach. Went 20-30 minutes to the gulf ares. There are boats there so I had to be on the lookout. But. I traveled with family - wife and my little son, so I stayed near the beach. My friend went to Santa Ponsa twice and he took a kajak there and went to the right from santa ponsa beach, 10-50 kilometers along the shores.
Trexelent! sounds fun! Im going to Mallorca in august. Im hoping to do at least one SCUBA dive since I just finished my education as a PADI Open Water Diver and I gonna to a lot of snorkling. Santa Ponsa is on the west side of the island if Im not mistaken. Have you been on the west side of the island and done some snorkling there? Is it easy going out from a beach or something. How fare do you have to swim out from shore to get to these depths?
He swears there are beautiful wild beaches out there, deeper waters, rocks and different sea life - less fish, but you can meet jelly-fish and cuttlefish.
I think thats real deep for with only a snorkel. I have not gone deeper that 7 maybe, but I started my interestest for diving last summer. Your movies are really great!
To go deeper I use my diving suite and a belt witj weights - some 2x2 kilos. This makes your body move as a torpedo underwater, really fast and easy...

Oh! So he took his kajak and then dived. Its probebly nice to kajak ass well. Im a member of a kajak club actually!

I dive alone - so I do not risk much, maybe 10-15 meters max.
