i have a tip to add to Steffi's

when u brush ur lips i apply my chap stick or lips balm to my lips and jsut brush with a dry tooth brush..i use a clean eye brow comb... it works the same way...

I have a really hard time doing my eye's. I have really big eye's I'm light skin It's very hard for me to use heavy color's on my eye's. Such Black Green Blue the bright colors you know. I Been using the same eye shadow for about 5 years now. It's the only one I think I look good with. I think If I knew how to apply the brighter colors it would look good Pursebuzz help???

BTW, 20 years ago, I used to work in the beauty business while I was at College. I worked for Clinique in Harrods, here in London. Make up in those days wasn't as much fun as it is today. Nowadays you have great new materials and new technology together with retro-fashions coming from the past that has greatly enriched the world of make up. Make up is like magic. People can be so easily transformed with todays make up! It is just amazing.

another exfoliating tip (kinda messy but REALLY WORKS!): put chapstick on and sprinkle a little bit of sugar on your lips. gently rub together and rinse off. GREAT for winter flaky lips;)

so cute. i have a problem with lipstick/gloss I cant stand the feeling of it and i tend to wind up licking or wiping it off. Someone recomended that I use a lip staine with chapstick over it...but the lip stains I looked at in Saphora and other places looked so hard to use. Any tips for lip stains?

I have a hard time with lip stains too because it tends to fade in the middle where we stick our tongue out. I'd go with a lip liner and some chapstick or a tinted one. :)

Try a lip plumper in a nude color.. the MAC's lip plumping one really works well. So does the one by Sugar :)

One good lip tip that Tyra Banks said on her talk show is to brush vaseline protroleum jelly on your lip with a toothbrush and let it dry and smack it against a napkin afterwards. =)
