  • smh...they don't make music like they used to. this shit goes oh so hard.

  • Oldie but Goodie!! their voices were always adorable!

  • diz one of da best groupz eva!!

  • that yellow sweater bivins had on was pretty tough

  • they fine. mainly mike

  • I never understood why Ralph's hair looked so stiff. He was still cute though.

  • This song and "Cool It now" are the best 80's songs ever!

  • My favorite part is near the end of the video his girlfriend shows up walking down the stairs then the video goes off.

  • NO MUSIC IS LIKE THE 80'S MUSIC!!!!

  • that's what I am talking about!. Love this song in the 80's.

    class of 1988!!!

  • i loovee iit (: i love you bobby h is so good looking here and every little step

  • bobby wasnt in this video, because he had left the group right before the video shoot, because during the photoshoot for the album he had a disagreement about what they were wearing and with the concerts and everything

  • Finally his voice sounds normal.

  • ronnie ahhhh . he is so funny in this video

  • Rizzo had his Shag game proper!

  • Lol @ Ricky lip syncin' Bobby's part. Damn this was my shit!! Even though All five was on the song. This video is simply put as Ralph Tresvant and Bell Biv Devoe. I bet those three had no idea they was gonna blow like that. Especially after, being behind Ralph's shadow like that and having Bobby kicked out and watchin' him surpass them in the nearby future. All in all, New Edition is the greatest group of all time!!!!

  • @deepree26 do u know y he got kicked out

  • He Got Kicked Out Mostly Because He Was Trying To Take The Shine From The Group He Wanted To Be The Leader Of The Group And Do Things His Way, But Management Wasnt Having It. They Just Had A VH1 Documentary On The Career Of Bobby Brown Where They Explained Everything.

  • @HuntaAKAROJ his behavior

  • I dont know why.Seriously.

  • R0NN!3 !5 FUNN!! @ 1:52

  • I had the biggest crush on Ralph and still do!lol Wasnt funny how the rest was mocking him if you looked in the vid?xD That was cute.

  • Ho Yesssssssssssssssssss !!!!

  • My fave part is 2 : 34!!! I love it!

  • Bobby Brown is not in this video because he was voted out of the band by the members. They were forced to do this by the executives after Bobby didnt follow dance instructions at a live show. He did what he wanted to do!

  • No Bobby=Grimey

  • I like this lil' song! Somebody needs to redo this song..

  • wow, this song really reminds me of my late brother, may he RIP.

  • YEA DATS BOBBY

  • how come bobby brown is not in this video!!!!

  • because he was kicked out fro the group

  • bobby didnt like doing backup singing he always wnated to be the lead singer

  • Hmm. Is that Bobby at 1:55 on? The more I listen to it, the less I'm sure. I'm thinking it is. Doesn't sound like Ricky.

  • Bobby said count me out.

  • i used to love this

  • where the f**k is bobby

  • theres no 3:34-3:35 -_-

  • She obviously meant 2:34-2:35. :)

  • I didn't know that. Good lookin' out, from one NE fan to another. ;)

I cannot tell you what hearing this song and watching this vid does to me. I get so hype. Takes me to totally differently place. I'm like a kid again. Love it.

Ralph was such a cutie--overbite, busted shag and all. All the guys ended up being handsome men.

  • I like the music, I just think the lyrics and the way it's sung is kind of weak. It probably would have been a better song if it was more upbeat and romantic lyrically. But pretty good. New Edition was always very underrated.

  • Those are Bobby's vocals at 2:12-2:15. He recorded on this song but they edited what they could of his parts out of the video.

  • love this.

  • bobby just had drop out of the group

  • Cool it now and N.e heartbreak is good too...

  • fantastic song of New edition!!!!

  • thanx

  • I was 5 when this song came out. i still remember he words

  • what is this comment referring to?

  • there is always something suspect with boy bands lol

  • he does doesn't he.

  • wonderful memories of growing up in the 80's!

  • wow I used to be so in love with ralph back then and I was so young. In fact My memories of new edition are more from the early nineties or late eighties.

  • ronnie looks cute

  • Bobby Brown isn't a New Edition member, not in my eyes, faggot ass cripple mouth.

  • lmao thats epic, i'm gonna start calling people that

  • 1) He's an original member. He was there before Ralph and Ronnie.

    2) That's fucked up you making fun of him having a stroke which caused his little mouth eccentricity.

  • STFU, he left like a bitch. So he isn't a true member.

  • Newsflash: He was forced out. He didn't leave of his own volition. He also re-joined them.

  • Oh someone had him at gun point? My bad. =\

  • The company New Edition was with forced the other New Edition members to vote him out because there had been some trouble between him and Ralph Tresvant during their 1985 tour. Ralph was upset with Bobby but none of them wanted to vote him out. The company forced them to vote him out or they would all be forcefully disbanded.

    It's a sad story.

  • correct he was voted out because he wanted some lead and ralph was getting all of it.

  • That's true. The company forced the other members to vote Bobby out. Something they were all sour about for quite a while after. From what I've read it Ralph a while to get used to Johnny being in the group after. In 1986 Ralph almost left the group when it was just the four of them and the company didn't give them enough money to make several music videos.

  • "I'm saving kisses for my Baby"... I absolutely adore that line (Ralph was sooooo cute lol) :~D

  • The look gay because it's a BOY BAND FROM THE 80'S. Everyone looked gay in the 80s, but that's only relative to how we do things now. No one was sitting around back then accusing everything of being and looking gay, lol. If you're looking for something that looks gay, look at modern versions of New Edition like Pretty Ricky and B2K, haha.

  • ok children!!!! i'm a 35 year old woman who grew up with NE trust me when i say aint NOTHING GAY bout ronnie. TRUST ME.

  • no he is married to that girl from blaque whose name i keep forgettin

  • he not gay

  • 1:49 lmao who put that note in there for him lmao???

  • Is Ronnie Devoe gay, cause he sure is acting like it in this video.

  • Comment removed

  • It was the 80s. Everyone acted gay. Especially if they were teenagers in a pop group!

  • no but even if he is the girls dont mind, judging by the number of nasty comments they say about him

  • lmao dey all rockin da bill cosbey sweaters

  • I feel so happy I got you tube!!! I was 10 when this came out but my big brother and cousins use to think they were New Edition HAHAH

  • Wow...the grammar in here is hurtful to the eyes, isn't it?

  • Grammatically correctly?

  • Sorry, that's grammatically correct! Just rushing to get my point across without proofing the statement. You get my point!

  • Wow...I had the biggest crush on Ralph ,LOL!

  • This is truly a new era. No one Counts their spelling and grammar anymore. Guys, I respect your comments, but please be grammatically correctly, it speaks volumns. 1985, when spelling and grammar counted in school.

  • Ronnie is married and this is in the 80's and he was 13 years old.

  • they wuz olda den 13 LOL srry

  • in dis he is lik 17 geht ya facts right[im not tryna b rude jus sayiinn)

  • love this song and all new idition songs i remember them all so well great songs great videos

  • Comment removed

  • This song sounds very similar to "Cool It Now." Just the melody....But I still like it though..

  • dont listen to that global kid wat eva his name is bobby decided to go solo on his own

  • I ain't neva heard this song or saw this video, but Ronnie Devoe look supa dupa gay. Neva seen him in this light b4.

  • they look so gay...but nice song

  • they suppose to look like sissys. they are picking at ralph cause he doesn't want to hang with them.

  • Not really if you check out all their video their moves are extremely girly.

So he's ralph where's bobby brown?

  • bobby got kicked out right after the album dropped so they just had ricky lip sync his part.

  • what did he do?

  • well in 84 they released the second cd that cool it now and mr. telephone man and shit, they toured with it all the way to beginning of 85 and Bobby showed his ass off, by acting stupid, kinda strippin' on stage and cuttin' in on Ralph's vocals, cuz he was upset over Ralph being the lead singer. The others were too, but Bobby mostly. All 5 still were able to record all for love and release it at the end of 85. Right after they release the cd Bobby got worse and the label voted him out the group.

  • I'm not suprise boby did something like that...he look like an attention seeker.

  • lol yea, well he did say he always wanted to be an entertainer and I guess playing 2nd front after Ralph wasn't cuttin' it for him.

  • Well there always has to be a lead singer in all group...and that person is normally the best looker and singer in the group.

  • yeah true that. Beyonce in Destiny's Child is a great example. what's funny is that went all of new edition went solo, they were all very successful, but Bobby was more successful than all of them including ralph. so i guess him gettin kicked out was a blessing in disguise.

  • you are so right after beyonce left the group she made more money and became even more popular than the rest. I have to admit that even though bobby wasn't the head singer....it appear to me that he stold out more.

  • hell yeah. He was more entertaining and extremely controversial as he got older, I guess him getting kicked out earlier as a kid explained everything, lmao.

  • ralph t ran shit hands down

  • Man, BBD used to be in a gay theater troupe?

  • good ol days of innocents and sweet puppy luv....

  • that song is awesome i like so much to hear it is coll it now

  • do da dadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadd(my fave part

  • nothin like ole school music and love

  • For some reason, New Edition' eariler songs like this and Mr. Telephone Man remind me of the music in the Sonic The Hedgehog games in 1991/1992

  • i kno exactly what u mean lmao

  • if you remember the music to the Spring Yard Zone and the Star Light Zone then you definately know what Im talking about

  • yea its got that techno pop sound to it that can only be found in sonic
