the Guild head stock is the same and the name is the same style. but judging on the fact that she is a professional, i would expect the quality of a Guild. maybe you are right

Yeah I know what you mean, but Washburn actually makes a few guitars with that headstock and they have some pretty nice expensive ones. The guitar she is playing is the Washburn D52SWCE, it costs about $850 or so.

850 is pretty damn cheap. it must be venier back and sides. any solid wood guitar under 1500 is super cheap. but hey more power to her for finding the bargin...
