@reuter51 What it matters is that his play style actually works. I'm especially impressed by the short range headshots. I don't think an ordinary BF3 player wouldn't even think of pulling those off.

looks quite far away, but it's 81m according to the marksman bonus... also i'd say it probably hit below the enemy's nose area in this case... it's not like you wouldn't feel any bullet drop with the L96, i'd say it's quite similar to the SV98 and M40A5, but that's just my impression, i didn't see any spreadsheet data or something.

@Ramhawk123 Not really that difficult to unlock, you can unlock it in about a day or 2, and the bullet is about the same as the m40 sniper but a little less.

Second lowest bullet drop in the game behind the m98b :)

Its not 1 shot kill except the legs. Only a head shot kills in 1 hit. And as for being slow on consoles thats a joke. People suck way more pc and aiming is much easier on pc. I destroy people on the pc way more then on xbox.

@konnan216 i would love to see you destroy in a game with decent pc players. i play pc and i have yet to get into a match with anyone that lets you get the drop on you that easy. PC has the most competetive players for BF3 in the world. there are also more players of BF3 on PC than xbox360 and ps3 combined. And FYI BF3 has a much slower FPS than pc, Get about 30 on ultra, and 60 on medium. I beg you to shut the fuck up before you speak about something you know nothing about

@Snofbox M98B by far. L96 does 75 max to 55 min (same as SV98, M40). M98B does 95 max to 59 min. L96 has a 540m/s round (SV98: 520m/s M40: 490m/s), M98B has a 650m/s round. L96 has the same damage dropoff range as the M40, and M98B has a higher max dropoff range than both.

L96 is basically a quicker reloading M40 with a faster round.

@Snofbox if the stats are same as the PC version which this game should be played on, the M98B is stronger with more velocity so less drop. The advantage of the L96 for me so far seems to be the slightly faster speed of getting another round in the chamber between shots and the larger magazine. I think they kind of balance out in a way but if I have to choose one, its definitely the M98b.
