Exactly, that's why he tours with them. It's his job as the MC to do his freestyling during Pendulum's old DnB songs, to do The Vulture and to get the crowd really, really hyped up. I've seen them 3 times, 4 times when they play later this year and Ben is seriously amazing, without him the gigs wouldn't be anywhere near as good.

He's there because the rest of the guys have a huge job on their hands trying to re-create the huge sound they have a big reputation for. They can't be communicating with the crowd and doing with this at the same time. Maybe the bassist gets time on his hands to pump the crowd, but thats about it. I think the MC is absolutely essential for all live gigs, thats what hes there for.

I mean there not like proper lyrics, they sound improvised, and I think if he's gonna rap, he needs definate lyrics to put on those instrumental songs. Otherwise he will look a bit annoying if hes just randomly making stuff up that may not fit and people wanna hear the music! ^______^
