Izuna Uchiha is Madara Uchihas younger brother who gave his eyes to Madara when he became blind due to overuse of the mankenkyo sharingan. He was mentioned only twice in the manga, so yeah tobi could be izuna.

A lot of Tobi's body is zetsu clay so he could very well be obito still, but personally i think he's madara's brother, even tho we saw his funeral it could've been faked or he could've been brought back by madara (since madara is a rinnegan user)
I think he's Izuna :3 Who has the same amount of hate for everyone else aside the brother of Madara? His brother, who's eyes were taken away from him, his pride, and his will to fight, and it was all in the end for nothing, I think that in the end, the one who actually killed Madara, was Izuna, took his eyes, got possession of the Rinnegan. The only thing I don't get is how did Izuna get Senju's 'portion of power' Hopefully we'll find out soon, but that's just my assumption.
its weird i have noticed that madara alwyas has the sharingan activated.unlike kakkashi and sasuke who can only use sharingan for a limited amount of time because it consumes chakra.but tobi has it activated no matter what .but i have noticed the with people like kakashi who lost their eye and got a sharingan in place since his is always in the sharingan form so my theory is that tobi is not an uchiha but it maight be his someone elsein smeone else body due to kabuto saying hes vessel is good

It was Kakashi's birthday thats why Obito gave away one of his Sharingan eyes (well because thats what was showing from his face was his eye). Kakashi reconized Tobi only because of the Sharingan eye similarites... Madara is likely the first Uchiha to open up the Mangekyou Sharingan, thus the Reason Itachi hated Madara from the start

Started out known as Tobi. Then the story "told" us that it was Madara Uchiha, which would make him a couple hundred years old or something. And, well, Madara Uchiha has recently appeared in the manga as... well, I guess Super Zombie is accurate enough. So everyone is kinda wondering exactly who the hell he is. ^_^

Izuna Uchiha is Madara Uchihas younger brother who gave his eyes to Madara when he became blind due to overuse of the mankenkyo sharingan. He was mentioned only twice in the manga, so yeah tobi could be izuna.

@Niyaru 1: Tobi is capable of time space jutsu. Keyword "Time", point (1) invalid.
2: Motive, motivation is tricky no matter the case! What if - Obito woke up and saw his comrades leave his side? You can't say what his motive was.... Period. 3: Skill , refer to (1) If he traveled back through time, he coulda trained all he wanted before doing so. 4: Kakashi saw his father at the (Campfire of dead people) not Obito. Period. I too believe Tobi is not Obito. Your argument sucks though.

@Awesomenessnoob i'll let you slide with 1-2 if you really want to but 4 still holds truth. When kakashi was killed he saw rin, obito and the 4th guiding him to the afterlife. He went to follow them but then his father stopped him. Reread the manga or watch the episode if you dont believe me. Oh and Tobi has 2 eyes, not one, even with time space jutsu, if he was obito, he couldnt get a lost eye back. Also obito never killed kakashi so how would tobi have the mangekyou if he was obito?

A lot of Tobi's body is zetsu clay so he could very well be obito still, but personally i think he's madara's brother, even tho we saw his funeral it could've been faked or he could've been brought back by madara (since madara is a rinnegan user)

I think he's Izuna :3 Who has the same amount of hate for everyone else aside the brother of Madara? His brother, who's eyes were taken away from him, his pride, and his will to fight, and it was all in the end for nothing, I think that in the end, the one who actually killed Madara, was Izuna, took his eyes, got possession of the Rinnegan. The only thing I don't get is how did Izuna get Senju's 'portion of power' Hopefully we'll find out soon, but that's just my assumption.

its weird i have noticed that madara alwyas has the sharingan activated.unlike kakkashi and sasuke who can only use sharingan for a limited amount of time because it consumes chakra.but tobi has it activated no matter what .but i have noticed the with people like kakashi who lost their eye and got a sharingan in place since his is always in the sharingan form so my theory is that tobi is not an uchiha but it maight be his someone elsein smeone else body due to kabuto saying hes vessel is good

@yggdrasil94 Really not much, all anyone can say for certain is that he has some strong connection to Kakashi's childhood friend and partner Obito, or is Obito. Its in the appearance, his tendency to wear a mask, and the fact that he was missing one sharingan. And he's the right age.

@Coolmccool96 Yeah i was leaning toward possibly Madaras younger brother but...it doesnt add up, so yeah that sounds like a good theory, and it adds up, i could understand obito being full of hate for his former comrades for leaving him but i felt he made amends with kakashi. and in his battle with the origami chick didnt he have two but used one for the izanagi technique? Im just throwing ideas around at this point lol.

@yggdrasil94 the only thing with obito he asked Kakashi to protect the girl and kakashi could even do that so possible vengence there but it would make sense. Obito and Tobi have similar personialities and names. It could some form of black zetsu but i doubt it. He did have 2 sharigan yes but he has acess to every single uchia body. Also it would make more sense of the mask. The eye Obito lost is the one the mask covered up. Continued

@danieldantestars Obito was killed in battle... He collapsed under a rock of a crumbling building.. It was Kakashi's birthday thats why Obito gave away one of his Sharingan eyes (well because thats what was showing from his face was his eye). Kakashi reconized Tobi only because of the Sharingan eye similarites... Madara is likely the first Uchiha to open up the Mangekyou Sharingan, thus the Reason Itachi hated Madara from the start

no one actually knows who the masked guy is, all we can do is think and create theories based on the info we have of characters that are dead or we know at least that they exist, I for one think that he absolutly is NOT obito, reason is because half of his body was crushed by a boulder(sorry for those who haven't seen the episode XD) and he was beyond healing(apart that he was left there to die), and also i doubt the masked guy is madara's brother and if he is, im sorry but would just be stupid

obito is the only likely person to be the guy behind the mask and notice that its his right eye that only shows and not the left (he has pain eye in left) but it might not be obito. i think someone took his body and used it tho

@TwizzlerEaterYourMom if you have read the fight between tobi and konan then you can see that when tobi is about to kill konan the other part of his mask is broken and there you can see his other eye. Conclusion it's not obito, he's dead.
Personally I think the guy behind the mask is the younger brother of madara who stole the eyes of another uchiha and implanted them into himself.
