  • Does the dish actually slow down respectively in vinyl mode when you raise and lower the pitch fader? And does nudging the dish forward work similarly in vinyl mode too?

  • can you map the track select knob to Traktor?

  • is it possible to connect an ipod?

  • Here is a most important question : can you jump to usb mode from cd mode and back ?

  • Denon is the best

  • Do this deck has the hot loop function from Pioneer decks? Have you checked the hybrid midi mode?

It's supposed that even in midi mode, the platter still function as a turntable, enabling you to get rid of timecode disks.

  • Can this cdj go from midi mode to cd mode without having to reboot the deck?

    Thanks Isaac G.

  • @irgarza52 Yes and also USB mode

  • @xicot86 I was reading the denon forum yesterday and denon says that its not possible??

  • It's a fine video, but you should get an easy hand for your camcorder.

  • @kstolstrup Thanks for posting this comment on multiple videos :) We aren't videographers. But the more support we get from our customers, the better our videos will ultimately be. We appreciate you watching.

  • im not a fan of denon i thought this would be better but.. the bpm jumps all over the place... just like all denon products .. they should work on that... numark v7 .. or cdj 800

  • @DKARMANI Yes this happened but the new update of firmware resolve the problem, also you can pass all your tracks that you use in usb in to the Denon Music Manager, that make the BPM and the waveform

  • hey I'm using virtual DJ an want to know how to map both of my decks only one is being recognized virtual 6.2

  • @DJ1Hands1on We don't sell virtual DJ and would definitely suggest hopping on the forums for this one.

  • that last track i was listening to literally while this video was playing its called move for me. haha that was odd.

  • and can I use them with serato?

  • do they slip when you scratch, like the 3500?

  • @djmarcoE Yea I like the scratching on the 3700's

  • @djmarcoE I just bought these bad boys a week ago, i have played 3 gigs so far and no slipping has occured.

  • I always prefer Numark or Pioneer.. Denon gave me some problems in many sessions...

  • @Pedorrasta08 This player is actually very good. But because the software dosn't support Mac, I sold mine and switched to CDJs.

  • What were the problems in question?

  • agip me tenes cansado con esas explicaciones de cuarta que ya todos sabemos

  • can anyone please tell me about the link? I know it has a link in the back but can it be link to another 3700?.The CDJ2000 has a link button and it can be link. where is the denon link button?. how do you link without the link button?

  • beautiful

  • AGI is there a quantize function so loops are seamless and perfect? like the pioneer cdj 2000s?

  • Hey i heaard that if u run this player for a log time it stars skipping because of the spinning platrer is that true did it ever happen to you?How long have your ran these non stop?

I realy wana get it but i dont want that to happen lol

  • Don't, also don't heat up like others say, i use in a fly case for about 11 hours whit out stop and no problems

  • and did u use them with the plater spining

  • yes, but if you buy a pair update to the latest firmware inprobes a lot the response of the hot cues and auto loop

  • which is the overall better product, denon s3700 or pioneer 800mk2?

denon has the spinning plater, built in fx, and usb/midi options.

wats the advantage of pioneer beside possibly being slightly more durable? i cant make up my mind =(

  • The only advantage is that if you put the CDJ in a club/party anyone now how to use it, but the Denon are a much better player and value for money, in my opinion is a CDJ 900/2000 killer, sorry bought by marketing/standard djs

  • oh cool, yea I tested out both, they are both great. I just forgot one thing about the denon though. I cant figure out if I was moving only the vinyll platter thing ONLY, or if when I was moving the vinyll it was moving the table too. So in other words, would I have to press down abit to move the wheel.

btw I have bought anything yet, so I still got time. I was gonna go with the cdj800 mk2 for about $600 each.

  • 2:02 .....do u mean tap it out manually? if not u just confused the shit out of me

  • Yeah, if the Auto-BPM reader fails, you can manually tap to the beat to calculate BPM. Hope that helps! :)

  • yea in knew that but he said automatically, not manually.

  • Oh mann, thank for the Nostalgia, aka Delerium feat. Sarah McLachlan - Silence (Airscape Remix) :) Glad to see it's still being played!

  • I give this deck 5 stars. They work perfect with time code cd's I can't wait for serato making it native.. ( Im not saying they are 100 % ) i just have a good feeling they will because denon is bring many customers for serato and serato is making they're controllers, Decks native.

  • @ Jolly Junkie..The Difference between the Oks Otus & the Denon 3700s. The Denon's will be natively supported by your favorite dj software and the Otis mayb not. Its not a popular deck like the denons. Asa midi controller, i would pick the Denons.

@ Oscarlai01.. The Flanger doesnt work with serato. The Flanger works when you play audio cds. If serato natively supports the 3700s, Then the Flanger could work.

  • i love denon gear but flanger function is stupid, you have to turn knob left first to make it dry effect then turn knob right.who invented it???

  • Does the flanger work with serato?

  • Wich is better as Midi controller, this one or the Eks Otus?

  • For controlling which software ?

  • Traktor, or maybe Live

  • I know the 3700 works great with Traktor. I cant see what kind of control you would have with Live. As far as I know, there's no timecode or midi transport control plugin available to the public for live yet.

  • nice to see that the effects depth is no longer controlled by the jogwheel (like on my old S-1000

  • Also wasn't on the S3500

  • This and the Ecler Evo4 should really be replacing Pioneer set-up as the standard.

  • How much do they cost?

  • $900 dollars, but wait ,if everything is okay ,with the unit, maybe you can buy for less.

  • if i conect both cdjs with the special cable can i use sync so it can automaticly syncronize both cdjs?

  • How do you set this player to automaticly play a already tracked cd one track afer another continuously without it stopping? also if you want to go directly to the next track on a already tracked cd what switch/knob would you use? thanks for your post.

  • between this and the CDJ800. which would you prefer AGI?

  • We still like the Pioneer. The 3700 is a great deck - and if the 9" spinning platter is your game, I think the 3700 would be best for you. It really boils down to personal preferece.

  • i rather get a

    pioneer

    cdj -800

  • what is this song?

  • Kaskade and Deadmau5 - Move for Me

  • not sure... the second song is ... but the first cant get it

  • The first song is Silence-Delerium feat/Sarah McLachlan.

  • do you know the tiesto remix of that song? it's REALLY great, from the beginning like most of his songs you can instantly hear that it's either FROM tiesto or REMIXED by tiesto (wich is the case with this song)

  • Are there cases made to fit these yet?

  • they should be able to fit inside any large-style cd player case from odysey

  • u can use the pioneer cdj 1000 coffin for it

  • kickin some kaskade at the end there

Awesome HD video, keep em coming

  • Great video guys...looking to get into offering DJ services so we are looking around to see what to get. The video really gives me a good idea on what the player offers. If I can make a suggestion on your next video shoot - turn off the auto focus and tell your videographer to go manual - auto focus doesn't work well for macro focus and it was hard to see when you guys were up close on the player. Thanks again for the review.

  • Glad you liked the player ccevideo. Also, thanks for the heads up on the shoot. We usually use a Canon HD DV cam, one of our guys had the camera out and we needed to get something on the web ASAP. We used a little Kodak Zi6 to shoot these. For a youtube cam, they are pretty nice - but I know what you mean about the macro!

  • Great video i'm picking up a pair of these in couple weeks. Whats the name of that song your playing?

  • aye how do you take the play lock off

i cant switch the track when its being played

  • What play lock??? Just pres ''next track'' button and u can go threw all your files!
