yes you have to have itunes. but you can drag any of your mp3 tunes to it because itunes doesn't allow you to import some kinds of mp3 or other audio tracks so you may need to buy the song you like from the itunes store if you really want it on your shuffle, please subscribe.

iPod shuffle doesn't suck. Anyone who owns an Apple product ought to know better. The iPod shuffle is primaraly for those who spend a couple hours of the day running and what not. That's why they didn't equip it with a screen and the shound is still like any other iPod, so what's the problem? MP3 players were made for listening to music, not watching videos, pictures and games. If I want to do those things I just bring my laptop, I ain't that lazy!

Not Really. There are several reasons people still buy the shuffles and the main one is because it's light so u can use it when ur running and when your in the gym. Also, you can clip it do its convenient. I tried and the shuffle is so light that you can swing it around using the earphone cable and it won't fall or anything.

yes u use the same playlist as u would with ur other ipod. you can have 1 itunes or w.e it is that u use with as many ipods as u want on that library. and there is no way to make sure other songs dont get on there. if there is a certain song you do not like, then u will just have to delete it. 1by1. hope that helps.

the head phones have good quality. but, as for all ipods, the headphones dont last long.

buy a more durable brand of headphones if u want. but i like them.

For exercising (since it's a flash based player it wont screw up when shaken), traveling, hanging around, and to take to school!
