  • THanks for sharing! Question though...couldn't you just transition to the single leg? I'm asking not telling. I'm a BJJ guy not a wrestler. I was just thinking efficiency, since that leg is there?? Not sure. Thanks.

  • I guess what I'm asking is why not go straight for the single instead of re-shooting for the double? Which would be your first option?

  • @mbpd260 - If your opponent shuffled back, the head inside single leg would be the quickest way to go.

I showed the double leg first for the benefit of novice viewers. Shooting a double leg is different than shooting a head inside single leg, and I didn't want people to confuse that. That is why I showed the double variation before the showing the head inside single (watch at 3:43). I will cover shooting a head inside single leg in detail down the road.

Thanks for watching and good questions!

  • @mbpd260 - Absolutely. In fact, I briefly cover that towards the end of the video. Really it all comes down to how the opponent positioned himself. If he shuffled back (keeping same stance), a head inside single leg would be most efficient. If he stepped back (switched stance), then a double or a hi-c would be more efficient.
