  • Thanx ,Fairchild Semiconductor for Amd if it wasn't for Amd ,I would have over paid Intel ...Thank you Amd , My K7 @998mhgz is still working . 10 years old and still working on my Compaq 5868 , I upgraded about 7 years ago from the 600 mhgz to 998 mhgz. I have read so much about ( Fusion ) ..( Dragon Platform )..If I need to buy a new rig .. I,m going Dragon platform...Thanx

  • The first commerical IC op-amp was the Fairchild μA702 designed by Bob Widlar at Fairchild Semiconductor in 1963. It was followed by Widlar's much-improved uA709 in 1965. The National Semiconductor LM101 and Fairchild uA741 followed shortly thereafter.
