Why do you guys compare an 8TH generation console to 7th Generation consoles, and brag that The Wii-U is better than systems that came out in 2005-2006. And also, I've never heard of any official release date of PS4 or Xbox720. If those consoles are to be released, then that would be years after the Wii U. Also, the Wii U will probably have graphics like PS3 of 360 or better, but it will be way cheaper than the other 8TH gen rivals so more people will have the option to buy it, making it more universal. I think Wii U will win the Console-war like the Wii did.

Nintendo drives me crazy. They demo this beautiful, realistic HD Zelda as if saying "Hey, we know what you've been craving for." But after E3 they say "Oh, but the actual game won't look like that." Wtf? SS was alright, but the art style, story, and characters seemed to cater to preteens. It lost its uniquely adventurous and dark, mysterious feel. Nintendo says we don't know what we want... WE DO. HEY! LISTEN!

It's because they want the player to give the characters there personality. Everyone has their own perception of what Link, Zelda and everyone else sounds like, to put in voice acting would be to take away that and taking away what makes the series unique.

@uytrewiiiooo nintendo was doing the cross play well before ps3/vita, plus it really can do 1 function that the controller can do that comes with the system, vita just has remote play, the wii u controller has more functionality than that.

Gba to gamecube was doing this a long time ago so the vita doesn't really offer anything new to gaming, maybe in the sony world.

This is what I call an upgraded system. All the Wii components and games work on the Wii U, so its really not a waste of money. The GameCube compatibility is gone but thats all good. And the system just got better with HD graphics and an official online network.

Im a little confused. If I get the Wii U do I need a wiimote and nunchuck because I sold my Wii and everything with it a couple years ago. I've seen in previews that they are using it and im not a fan of the wiimote. Also does anyone know the graphical capabilities of this?

@SunnyD966 It's graphical capabilities are what you are seeing in this video and might improve as the console develops more. The Wii motes are compatible but I think the New controller will be the new focus. I hope I can use the Wii mote + like in Skyward sword though. Huge graphical jumps from what we have had for the past 6 years can't be made anymore. We are hitting wall. All that can be done is update the graphics slightly but I assume other aspects like physics can improve a lot.

I like that, However zelda is more like a fantasy of a medival fairytale. I do think that nintendo does a goodjob of capturing zelda's fairytale aspect, but they also need to give it the dark mideval vibe. the past 3 zelda games have all been cellshaded, its time to add a bit more darkness to the series.
