this is toooooooooooooo old for that superman dont like like superman and not strong like superman this superman look weak not strong, and that dont look like clarkkent
I wrote a wacked-out satire on the origin of Superman. I rebooted the origin of Baby Huey in the lab of a mad genetic scientist..(tho the animated cartoon did it justice,too.). In the kingdom of Strackenz, in Germany, Baby huey the Infant Terrible, was placed in a rocket and sent off -to Canada ! His loving foster parents then dynamited the building where the rocket was launched and flew to Canada, where, now dressed as farmers they met him. The town of Smalltown was built to house & raise him.
@hermankatnip Do you have any others from this same year? I would love to watch them... I'm 26, and this is what my parents used to buy me when I was young, definitely brings back memories... Good ones. Thank you, pal.
In the traditional versions of his origin, after the Kents retrieved Clark from his rocket, they brought him to the Smallville Orphanage and returned a few days later to formally adopt the orphan, giving him as a first name Martha's maiden name, "Clark." The passing motorists referred to here must be Martha and Jonathan Kent.
This is true. In the first episode of the TV series 'The Adventures of superman Ep 1 (1952) There is no mention of taking him to an orphanage. Similarly in the first Superman movie (1978) no mention of an orphanage is made. The Original Action Comics #1 does mention the smallville orphanage so somewhere along the the line the orphanage part was dropped. Other changes happened in 1942, Jor-L, Kal-L and Lora (Superman's birth mother) changed to the more modern Jor-El and Lara.
It was later explained that Jo-rel carefully chose the rocket's destinatioin before launching it. Still, it was sheer luck that he was found by the right foster parents.
wow this is a really clear video for the time it was done (I have this episode on a DVD series and its not as clear as this). I love these old episodes. thanks for posting. do you have the Secret Agent episode?
@givebeesachance Actually, in this one he's more like a super frog, making high jumps (AS in the early comics); Superman actually flying was invented for these cartoons, cause the giant jumps looked aukward< See at the end when he jumps with Lois and the Scientist
this look seem like dbz on episode 1

Baby Huey is strong enough to carry a 747 on his back, can fly -if fired out of a cannon ! -and his kevlar-like feather down makes him invulnerable.

@MadKryptonian The narration of Krypton's destruction in this video makes Kal-El's landing on Earth sound like sheer dumb luck.
