wow. thought I would track this down..... tonnes of great comments and cannot believe it has so many views. I was the "creator" (co-producer/writer/director/cinematographer/editor) of this video. First thing I did out of university. youtube user = postandgraphics
Don't know how I got here, but this is a really flowing and relaxing beat. I can't believe it's this "aged". These sounds take me to a good place. The video goes great with it. Good editing skills if you take in the time it was probaly made. Thanks for this.
I - AM - SO - GLAD!!! that I finally found this version of the song....! I used to hear this when I was getting ready for high school at 4AM in the morning as it played on BBC channel's Earth TV (where you can see diff. places of the world live), in the Philippines. Thanks for sharing! Beautiful video.... and beautiful song!
Can't believe you only have 12.000 views for this piece of art video. I'm prob responsible for half of the views... Great song / Great video. Perfect match
@karmaprovesincere , hey there, sorry dont know who did vid. i definately dont take credit. There was no video credit on the CD i bought. I googled it at the tiime, and attributed the credit to a director who subsequently told me he did not do the video.
the creator (co-producer/writer/director/cinematographer/editor) of this video is @postandgraphics youtube search him and check out his other goodies on offer :)
i have the videos for "solar flare" and "relapse" if you guys want me to upload them, by the way this is the official video for satie , the others are fairly similar
I have discovered that the record company actually commissioned more than one video for this. This is the "official" video. Haven't seen the other one/s
man satie has way too much feeling for me to dig this remix. interesting concept. its a cool XY interpretation, that melody is just so beautiful though to be banged out. it may be however a telling allegory and possibly even a cold critique of human progress on another level. the numbing hurts...but who knows.
this is a Nokia ringtone :D
