this are just hanging leg raises, but nog windshield wipers. WW go from far left to far right keeping te legs up. Look on youtube por proper wiper excersise, you have to swing your legs like the wipers on the window of your car. Need to say, good abs dude!

Those aren't hanging windshield wipers; those are hanging leg raises performed at various angles. When you perform windshield wipers, your legs mimic the motion of actual windshield wipers.
Just wanted to say thanks for this great exercise. Really has been working my core, and man you must be strong to do it as smooth and controlled as you do.
Tried these today, your core is so strong! I could do the straight ones ok, but the angled ones for obliques are really hard, i kept swinger, got my mate to put his hands on my back and abs to keep me from swinging :D Thanks for this though!
Every time you train your abs add in straight after your routing back bridging, then just before you go to bed do it again, hold for id say 3-4minutes, counteracts the bending of the lower spine.

@icekoold69 Lower reps just develop strength m8. For 'toning' you want single joint, isolation exercises, preferably free weights in a 10-12ish rep range.
@icekoold69 no man thats to build size, if u wanna tone and get big at same time try doing dropsets with high weight starting with 10 reps max and then ending with 20 , but there is far more variations as to building a toned build body in terms of workouts just have to find the right workout and rep range as well as sets
The more muscle you have the higher bodyfat percentage you can have and still have your abs showing. I have about 6% and I have got pretty visible abs, working on em though :). I'm guessing Scott is somewhere around 6-8%
@stAkkdc i dont know if your joking or not, but if you're not ill help you out.... yes, its probably the worst thing for you if you're looking for muscle growth. Cigs/pot slow the blood stream leaving less blood for your muscle to absorb, and seeing how blood is what muscle leach on its bad. Beer is just 100% not good, though the occasional 1-2 times a month isnt bad.

Weed slows down your blood flow and therefore slows how much nutrients go to your muscles. Alcohol is so ridiculous of a body building inhibitor that it's easier just to say don't drink.
@stAkkdc I personally like to smoke a joint before a workout sometimes... it makes it funner :) . this isnt for everyone though since many friends of mine get lazy after smokng a joint. im different (: .. idk bout drinking but alcohol is high in calories.but honestly i think smoking a joint after a workout is beneficial since it relaxes your muscles after having them being ripped in a strenous exercise. smoking cigarrets is just disgusting though, and it will affect your progress in the gym...
@PROUDxXxHermanite01 You should get a Vaporizer like the Silver Surfer or even simpler and way cheaper, a Vapor Genie, it's like a pipe but it has a ceramic filter to distance the flame from the material so it doesn't burn, it vapes it! Totally awesome and way less harsh on the lungs and throat. I hate smoking!

Just make sure you read the user guide on their website for optimal operation. And get yourself a nice electronic ignition (piezoelectric) pipe lighter. No flint or Zippo!

@stAkkdc lol, i've never read about research being done to proove that so i wouldnt be able to tell you.. but from expirience, it makes you feel really relaxed after being really tensed up which feels really good, and muscle soreness the next day decreases quite a bit cuz of the relaxation of muscles. which will help you feel better when yoou get into the gym the next day! ... it defenetly has its benefits though. also dialates your blood vessels so blood flows more efficient , and this is good

point is zyzz doesn't need to isolate abs because he lifts heavy. Scott does a ton of isolation for his abs, and his midsection looks like a freezer block
@brozac1011 Hello i noticed scott didn't reply to your question so i will answer it for you, That muscle in question are his obliques, you train them with a mixture of oblique exercise ie side crunches and twists with a low % in body fat. Check out Scotts channel its packed full of abs exercises i suggest the AB pillow work out to start out.
If u want to make this even harder pull yourself slightly up and hold in a pull up position to tighten your core even more. Try it you will see what I mean.
easy, just dont fully extend your legs... i think the main thing is to go all the way up and try and touch your chest with your knees AND to Not swing!! (swinging makes it a lot easier lol) imagine a wall behind and don't touch it, so you don't swing:)
@SillyDuck2 Just raise your knees as HIGH as you can, after a week you should be able to lift your legs aswell :) I do 10x10 And it helped me really fast :)
@SillyDuck2 I'd say that you can lay on the floor trying to lift your legs WITH YOUR ABS. Many ppl do that exercise wrong by using their hip/leg power.
@SillyDuck2 Yes, the adjustment would be to keep your knees bent at 90º then do it. It will get your midsection strengthened and after awhile you will be able to incorporate the actual stiff legged movements that scott is doing. Also, you can do windshield wipers on a decline bench, but switch the way you lay on it so your head is pointed towards the leg pads and then grasp the leg pads with your arms like you are flexing your biceps on it. I hope this has helped.

If u want to make this even harder pull yourself slightly up and hold in a pull up position to tighten your core even more. Try it you will see what I mean.

easy, just dont fully extend your legs... i think the main thing is to go all the way up and try and touch your chest with your knees AND to Not swing!! (swinging makes it a lot easier lol) imagine a wall behind and don't touch it, so you don't swing:)

@SillyDuck2 it'll take tons of conditions before you'll even get them past your waste, you need fairly powerful abs. It'll come eventually though.

@SillyDuck2 Just raise your knees as HIGH as you can, after a week you should be able to lift your legs aswell :) I do 10x10 And it helped me really fast :)

@SillyDuck2 I'd say that you can lay on the floor trying to lift your legs WITH YOUR ABS. Many ppl do that exercise wrong by using their hip/leg power.

@SillyDuck2 Yes, the adjustment would be to keep your knees bent at 90º then do it. It will get your midsection strengthened and after awhile you will be able to incorporate the actual stiff legged movements that scott is doing. Also, you can do windshield wipers on a decline bench, but switch the way you lay on it so your head is pointed towards the leg pads and then grasp the leg pads with your arms like you are flexing your biceps on it. I hope this has helped.
