John the number of people that have bought the vita is very low. The total number in the u.s. is a little over 2,000. The total number over in Europe is 18000. So while playin online ur going to have to wait forerver to find a match. The internet connection is probably goin 2 be laggy
at 0:10 into the video you said "the vita is a impressive system not when it comes to graphics". i have to totally disagree with you there, based on games like wipeout 2048 which looks even better than the ps3 version of wipeout and uncharted golden abyss which is on par graphically with uncharted 1 on ps3, there is no other handheld or mobile device on the market that can pull off visuals like these. it cant get better than this on a mobile device!

When you say "Overpriced" that is the wrong term to use. The PS3 launched at $600 (60GB) because it was introducing new technology to the market such as blu-ray. Did you know at the time the ps3 was being manufactured at the price of $825 per unit? You can say the ps3 price was too high but it was NOT "overpriced". That term would make sense when you are discussing the launch of the 3DS....and it was known that that it was being manufactured below the $250 price point.

A consumer doesn't care what it cost Sony to make the system, they care about what it cost to purchase one. I'll stick with my 3ds (especially with the new paper mario game) until the game's price and memory card's price goes down. $250 is fine by me for the portable (it's what I paid for my 3ds and I still think it's a fair price). however, $50 portable games in this day and age is simply ridiculous, and IMO 32gb should be at least lower than $80 if not around $64 ($2 per gb); $100 is simply too much. That being said I am interested in it when the price is more affordable; particularly for lbp vita.

@TheWaine22 Um... no. For one, Sony dropped the prices - they'll retail from 4 GB at $20 to 32 GB at $100. Secondly, physical cartridges for the Vita exist, dude... the cartridges alone for the retail games are like 4 GB lol - it's not download-only.
i did some google search on OLED life expectancy and tbh it's really not as bad as it seems. although typical OLED screens last about 5-6 years it mostly depends how many times a day you use the device and even then the screen will obviously not be lit the whole time so i wouldn't worry about it. besides with improvements in tech the latest OLED screens are made to last longer and by the time it dies a new improved vita will be out anyway :)
