The 14,000 people who have viewed this, although few, are nonetheless the wisest of them all, for only they possess the knowledge of true beauty. I would be humbled and honored in all of their presence.
It's so unfair that musical geniuses like these have to keep their day jobs in order to stay afloat, while prissy, talentless, pop stars can live in mansions
I've never felt like I've travelled on such a majestic journey than I have by the end of this song. THIS is what is meant by the term "a sonic landscape"!
Is interesting to hear the graduality with whom the song starts....cnq't wait to see them live in april , also if i thinkthe will not do this fucking great song
I remember the first time I heard this song. I heard great things about it, so I put the entire song on my ipod, rolled a joint, and walked into the dark woods near my house. I came back from that walk changed forever. During this portion, I imagined a bunch of wizards summoning an enormous stormfiend to do their bidding, but the electrical stormfiend did not obey them and they had to battle it.
An incredible atmosphere, and the most inspired depiction of imagery through sound I've ever heard.. It's like combining the timbres of rock/metal/folk music with the compositional scope of a symphony. Just incredible; I hope this piece will some day be fully recognized.
I love such songs, which are constructed complex, contain an interesting atmosphere and last long.
If you like that, listen to the old Pink Floyd stuff like Echoes, Be careful with that axe Eugene or Atom Heart Mother. Well, its not metal, but it creates somewhat a similar atmosphere.
But back to Moonsorrow:
Just sit down, relax und listen to that masterpiece of music carefully. ;-)
Can't even describe the epicness of this song in words...its just amazing, I'm amazed by both of the melodies and the lyrics of it...Orgasmic, its like watching LOTR in 30 minutes through your ears, maybe even better....
@Glargl WHOOOOAAA, You are so metal!!!! You hate a band on the disney channel, what a tough motherfucker! I bet it took you months to come up with that sick burn!
@Dumptruck4Lif You betcha. I'm friggin' badass. Tbh, I find it amusing such an admittedly uninspired comeback got so many thumbs up. But erm... yay for me, I guess.
@amltaman123 probably you won't even get this on account of how longago you made the comment but seriously - just saying it's horid and not motivating your statement-that's not quite fair. Whatever you think of the music and of course you are allowed to not like it, at least be brave enough to say WHY you think it is horid. Cause no matter what you say about it, this is truly exceptional one way or another-such a non-commiting comment isn't usefull to anyone reading it.
