i like newt gingrich but i believe Ron Paul would be a better president and would also own obama in a debate like newt would. plus, Ron is the only candidate that has offered a real plan to balance our budget right away

The proposals that Mr. Gingrich makes in his new Contract with America seem, in many ways, to be very radical, but that is only because America has drifted so far away from its roots, founded in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. The greatest internal threats to what America is all about are the Academia and the dictatorial judges who claim (falsely) that the Supreme Court is supreme over the other two branches of government and over all aspects of American life.

@thomasjefferson6 I agree with you and I would further state that Pres Obama is not the present danger to freedom. The danger is the existence of a growing populous that would elect such a man to such an office. The Bible (Dan 2:21) tells us that God removes and sets up Kings. I pray the God hears the prayers of the people who are praying for Jerusalem. I pray that a new season will come and God sets up Newt for 2012.

@Oceanmachine27 Newt Gingrich is the only candidate who is emphasizing the point of having Americans deeply involved in the process of changing America instead of ramming things through, whether conservative or liberal. Doesn't sound condescending to me

@Requinix17 Newt Gingrich is the also the only candidate who has little to no interest in becoming president, but instead in flogging some sort of bizarre amalgam of self-promotion and GOP cheerleading. He's also the only one I've seen to gesture dismissively at a female reporter, ignoring her question and telling her to "go home", while also being unwilling or incapable of answering any direct question posed to him in televised debate. Tom-a-to, tom-ah-to.

@Oceanmachine27 you really think that had anything to do with that the reporter was female? wow. He just finished unveiling his extremely specific and comprehensive plan, which the other reporters were asking him about. The reporter asks him about his low fundraising, I don't see anything unreasonable about his response. He didn't beat her up, he just said he wouldn't answer and moved on.

I think that you should-- you should really go home and think about why you even asked that today." I find that very condescending. But it's obvious we're of two minds about him, so I'll just let it go at that.

I was at this event. This man is simply brilliant. I hope he is the nominee because he would make Obama look like a kindergärtner in the debates. There is absolutely no doubt that he would be able to turn this country around.

When Newt Gingrich talked about working on "Brain Science" (Parkinson's,Autism,Alzheimer'­s, Mental Illness ) Helping take this medical area & find new drugs & treatments? HE HAD AMERICA CHEERING! His compassion & capability to help this Nation is what we need 2012!
