Guys, I agree with you that Soupy and Josh caring about their fans so much is wonderful, but you're missing some facts here. I was right in the front for this and saw the whole thing unfold. Basically, three security guards were all at this big dude who was flailing and while they were trying to get him safely on the ground, they didn't see the girl to their left about to fall over. It was scary, but luckily she was alright! Soupy definitely overreacted and shouldn't have spit at the guard :(

Exact same thing happened the day before this in Montreal. Soupy came down to check that the girl was alright and Josh said "Catch them when they come up, it's your fucking job!" I can see why they get mad with this happening day after day.

I was backstage for this, as soon as he came off stage he was still livid about it. I've never seen any artist care so much for their fans. Security is lucky John held Dan and Josh back.

Sorry, but I think it's complete bullshit. I think it's fucking stupid to bitch and yell at people who are doing their jobs, it's not something you should praise. They willingly accepted to play warped tour, where there is obviously going to be people getting hurt because it's a large venue. It sucks hearing people say "stay posi!" and associating it with The Wonder Years, these guys know absolutely nothing about positive hardcore and this just proved that.

@MartianStew666 about positive hardcore? they're a completely and utterly positive band. this isn't stupid at all. the security guards are most definitely NOT doing their jobs if they don't fucking catch the people that are crowd surfing and just left them fucking fall. the fact that soupy and josh got mad at them because they dropped the girl is the most logical thing in the world. it doesn't matter if its a large venue. they should have more security guards that know what they're doing

@cazchiefs I love watching these guys play. Anything bad happens and Josh immediately gets pissed off. Happened on the Cleveland leg this year. One of the security guards pushed a girl they just pulled down from crowdsurfing so she would get out of the way. Josh immediately stopped everything he was doing and told him not to "touch another fucking person the rest of the set." I fucking love this band.

I was there right in the front. A girl was crowd surfing and the guys at the front were all at someone else, taking them off the crowd while me and my friend were trying to hold her up and get their attention. That's why soupy said " right there! Right there!" and she fell over the side cuz she was getting pushed and we couldn't hold her up. Soupy got so mad
