yea no kidding, the attack and phrasing is pure rock and roll, i've love fabian's singing. it's kinda slightly out of tune like 100's of 60's garage rock singers. and the Phila house band rocks like crazy (see Tiger's B-side Mighty Cold cliff gallup style guitar break, at about 1:42)

but to get back to the point someone made, WHAT THE HELL DOES "GOOD SINGING" HAVE TO DO WITH ROCK AND ROLL? necessarily. you want "good singing" you buy a 50's Sinatra album, right. Fabian rocks, man

You know I never thought much about it but Fabian really did rock with the songs he did. And I personally liked his songs! To tell you the truth, I think it was because he was a real good looking guy and a lot of people (Paul McCartney) were jealous! No, I do like girls! Wayne Arthur

I am not sure what this fuss around Fabian is all about? I don't care if this guy is a 'good singer' or not, Fabian is a rocker, and his tunes are hot! Have you listened to Tongue Tied? Did you know that Johnny Burnette was behind some of his tunes as a songwriter? Well, Johnny is the father of Rockabilly , I sure hope no one will argue about that!
