I met you on the plane to Charlotte (I think) last week. Anyway, I talked to you about my son Tyler who also writes songs.

Anyway, this is a very heartfelt song where real life meets art and creativity. Everyone knows someone who has been twisted around by “liquor-coated lies” on both sides of the lies.

Bare in mind I'm pretty young, so I'm not 100% correct on everything I say. Your song was amazing and It's awesome of you to be able to share your feelings, no matter how hurt you are. This song is amazing on so many levels. You're a great story teller, you told a lot of people's story with this song. It reminded me of my ex-husband's parents. Same year, '78, his mama actually went to lock herself in the bathroom when she saw headlights pull in, but it was the police to tell them his dad had been killed. He had been out drinking and was shot. He was supposed to be home for his other son's birthday party. The gifts were later found in the trunk of his car... GREAT SONG!
