okay what is dawn and dre's status now...and what is up with En vogue. I seen them a couple years ago at the Black Expo in Indianapolis but they were just sining their old songs.

andre allen and dawn robinson are back together..his son Terrence Jordon Allen is my best friend and he said they are back together again [unfortunately] :[
Because the music industry is particularly rough on singers. Writers get a better than average deal (provided they maintain ownership of their material) but the singers have to rely on pretty weak contractual deals for their money.
That's why it's always better to be an "Alicia Keys"-type (singer/SONGWRITER) because you get money from airplay in addition to what you can earn on the road. If you're just a singer, what you make touring is pretty much it (provied you don't owe on an advance):(
I am a big fan of Dawn's and I hope she does her own reality show. I will definitely watch. I think it would be very successful especially now that she has reunited with En Vogue.

I workd with him at babyface label and rumor in hollyhood is he doing his own show about him w/44 Blue and they follow him all the way to a new rcrded eal with Wind Up Records who got Creed, Evaniscence, and a rock group called Seether! The rest of the members of En Vogue should have had Dawn's back. All four of the members would have been better off if they stuck together and held out for more money. Dawn was the only one who had the guts to stand up for herself.
