i wish my dog was more dog-like.

mine would never sit in a pool like that... when i take him for walks, he walks around puddles cause he doesn't like getting his paws wet.

i threw him into the shallow end of an ocean once and he got so mad at me :(

why cant he be more dog-like! i want to get a doggy pool for him

My B&T shiba will have his biiggest adventure with water when he drops a piece of food in the bowl of water ad has to paw it out. :)

is there any diffrences in the b&t vs the reds or whitesbesides their color... temperment,diffrence in coat (shedding, thickness) im intrested in getting a shiba with my girlfriend for our first dog and its just something ive been wondering about also would it be ok with a kitten (puppy shiba inu/ kitten ragdoll, birman, or russian blue)?

My b&t shiba has a bit of a coarser coat than my red shiba. Each individual shiba has its own unique temperament and this is not based on coat color. They do get along with cats if raised with them. You just need to take introductions slowly. They are a unique breed, but definitely not for everybody. Do lots of research. A good website to check out is the National Shiba Club of America website.

Such a cute Black and tan I have a 4month B&T shiba pup named Saya she's ok with water she'll chase water coming out of the hose/sprinkler and on hot days she'll lay in the baby pool we got for the dogs long as it's shallow enough for her.. =)

how old are your shibas? i have a almost 4 months old shiba female, but theyre not as round/fluffy as yours.
