  • then why do you keep on messaging back it sounds like your the one wasting my time

  • what a waste

  • @bleachfirestorm

Yeah, I agree, you are wasting both your time, and mine. First by watching videos you don't like, then leaving negative comments on them.

  • @bleachfirestorm git a life

  • awsome vehicle to bad a complete dumbass is driving it

  • @bleachfirestorm

Well, He is a fat fuck, but at the same time you're an asshole, so what can you say really

  • lol dude im sorry you cant drift

  • @GlLITClH

hahah, are you serious man? Is a 60hp (When New) 1946 Willys Jeep. :) How good do you expect that to work out?

  • if you're going to drive this jeep at any time at all, you NEED helmet. a WWII us army helmet :D

  • @needleonthevinyl haha, i think my friend actually has one! i should see what i can do about making a vid with the helmet

  • love the aftermarket back seat!!! lol

can you post more vids of the lincoln?

  • haha, yeah, that seat was barely held on and bouncy, so kinda dagerous. made it more fun though :)

i'll see if mike wants to beat the shit out of it more. The trans has been acting up since then, so he might not be into it.

  • Oh sweet you have an old willys jeep. Your Lucky!

  • Yeah! we are lucky, i wish every one had about 3 of these awesome things :)

  • Tom, man you need some mud tires on that Willys! I wouldn't put bigger or wider tires on it, just a more aggressive tread.

  • Yeah i know... :) i think about that alot. It would be pretty unstopable with more agressive tires. The only thing is, i don't like the way the standard mud tread looks when its on really old willys and stuff. kinda takes away the old look... But i really should find something more agressive. It would be cool to see what it could do. Mud tires that skinny might look cool though. like 5 inches wide or something. Think i'm gonna go look on ebay right now. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • If you have 15" wheels, 7.00x15 is the right size, and for 16", 7.50x16. Actually, the military jobs came with 6.50x16, but 7.50 is still skinny, and 33" tall so they rule in mud.

  • they are 16 or 16.5 incher's. are the stock tires 33 inches high?

  • Nope. The military tires were 6.50x16, and were about 31". The 7.50x16s came on a lot of fullsize trucks, but they fit a jeep with 16" rims and give a couple inches more height while still being skinny. I have 7.50x16s on my WWII MB.

  • Nice! i bet the 33 inch height would give you a little bit higher of a top speed! it wouldn't show on the spedo, but maybe 5 or more MPH :) Any idea how much a set of those military style tires would go for? even the 6.5 ones.

  • Is that lincoln continental doin donuts? LOL. That's too fukkin funny. Great smoke "dirt" screen. Romp that bitch!

  • Nah, that thing's not doing donuts, mike was just Re-Parking it. He had someone blocked in. Some times the throttle sticks, can't be helped.

  • That's very informative, thanks a lot! I figured it was an H pattern with First below Reverse, so that you could easily rock it back and forth to get it unstuck. I was confused, and intrigued when i misheard the video and thought it might have been the same pattern except at a 90 degree angle. Like, Reverse up and to the right, which would have been nutz.

  • Haha, yeah, adam was trying to say something about how different it was then a a 5 speed in a car. and i don't know exactly what he was getting at. Something about how it moves left and right alot more i think. but he seemed to think it was really different, like a whole different shifting concept... maybe because the shifter moves up and down so far to put it in gears... and a honda or something moves very little... i don't know... he was pretty stoned.

    Thats how wheel horse's are!

  • a wheel horse is like a bolens, but 90 degrees to the left. down and left = reverse down and right = first up and right = second up and left = third. and a bolens is, left and up = reverse left and down = first right and down = second right and up = third. The cub cadet's are like the willys shift pattern. the sears are like the wheel horse, 90 degrees to the left, but second and third are switched.
  • No wonder you romp those things so much! Sounds like damn fun.

  • Awesome video!

  • Nice! Glad you liked it! :)

  • i that the abraham lincoln ,the clinton mark 8 or the abraham lincoln log?

  • Shit, don't let Mike drive it, it might catch fire or explode for absolutly no reason.

  • We did light it on fire the one day, accidentally, before i got it going.

  • thats awesome guys, you should have the willys and your cj do some wheeling.

  • man... that would be the coolest thing ever... i wish i never got rid of the CJ-5... that thing rocked... Janet has a 1950's willys CJ-5 thats got a short front end, and the Over head exhaust valve version of this engine :) hopefully that will come romp some day :)

  • What kind of engine does that Jeep have, I can't remember what you said about it, rebuilt or factory direct or something? What is the shift pattern on that Jeep?

And DAMN that Lincoln is wicked as sin...The throttle response on it sounds instantaneous!! More than likely a 32-valve v8. He might need to change his air filter after that dirt breathing donut spree.

  • Hey! i'm guessing the engine has never been rebuilt, and could have low hours on it. it was off of a military generator. But its the correct engine for the jeep, they were used in everything. says JEEP on the head and all :) Its a flat head, 134 CI 4 cylinder. with a 1 barrel carb. 60HP, ( 8 more HP then my jetta) and its got a REALLY long stroke, so it doesn't like high rpm's at all, and has CRAZY torque.

  • shift pattern is

    Left and up = reverse

Left and down= 1st (Not Syncronized)

    Right and up = 2nd

    Right and down = 3rd

The Clinton Log doe's have some crazy power. Its some kind of crazy 4.6L dual overhed cam thing going on. :) Trans has some slight slipping after that.

  • same shift pattern as an old farmall tractor!

    does the clutch work yet?

  • Yeah man! :) this is new footage! :) see us shifting and all, and starting out from a stop with no grinding or problems. I made a video where i ripped the engine out, and got the clutch unstuck! :) Same as a farmall :) nice. Probably all old cars were like this too. I think it might be called a Standard H Pattern.

  • ,,......mower dicks for sure!!!!!

  • Yeah, and there were over 40 that we had to unload! all bolens, and weighing probably 70 or 80 pounds each. maybe more. A guy with a bolens junk yard brought them over to me so i can rip them appart for him, so he can sell the parts. I get alot of bolens parts from the man.

  • that lincoln sounds healthy yet...but I'd still have the ol jeep. haha!

  • Yeah, its hard to beat the willys. Unless you want to go 55MPH. i don't think the willys would like those high rpm's. :) The redline is somewhere near 3000! Where as the Lincoln Log had to be at around 6000.

  • Tell mike to take the lincoln to the muddy drifting patch.

  • hahah! man, that would be awesome. unfortunatly you can't get to it with car's anymore. you used to be able to get to it with VW jetta's driven fast enough, floored in second gear, but front wheel drive and being light will do that for you.

Many years ago, when i was a kid, my mom had a nova or... a malibu or something, and she was drunk, and she went flying back there, and almost hit a tree. :) that was before the circle was around though. it was just woods then.

  • LOL i drove one of those back in the late 70s on a gigantic ranch in western oklahoma. had SO much fun. great video, guys

  • Nice! the willys? They pretty much are just pure fun aren't they? Everything about the beast just makes me smile.

  • from what ive seen of mike on the tractors im suprised you let him near this thing lol.

  • Its interesting though, you know? wondering what he's gonna do on it. How he's gonna bash it or break it.

  • but then who has to fix it when he kills it?

  • haha, Mr Tom Martyn of course... but thats how it goes. :)

  • lol you should tell him that if he breaks something he has to fix it SOBER and when hes done he gets to drink!

  • Yeah, the problem is, i'm the only one who knows how to fix these things. i know where all the parts are, how all these things work. i'm the only one who's worked with these crazy old machines for so many years.

  • lol im the the only one i know that enjoys to work on small engines so your not alone also my moms 2000 something expiditon is acting weird when you floor it it sputters and some times it will stall out obviously its not gettin enough fuel but its not the fuel pump if it was a code woulda poped up so u think we should clean the injectors and all of that good stuff?

  • If it's severe enough, a code should show a lean condition, asuming it's fuel related. The only way to make a solid confirmation on the pump's health would be having a fuel pressure guage on the rail when it's running.

  • Alright ill have to see if my freinds shop could do that and most of the time it doesnt like to start up in the mornings when its cold it just started acting up

  • you need gun racks and some black powder guns and some SA .22s from the 70s maybe a .31 or a dual barrel shotgun .12 gage or even a .20 or two. and then it will look perfect. lol load the whole clan up handem each a gun viola. a little piece of WW2. not many have access to old military guns but those look alot like them.

  • That would probably scare the deer. Or cause them to form some kind of retaliation squads. And i just don't know if we're equipped to deal with that. :) That really would be cool looking. I think a 50 caliber bolted on the thing would be cool too.

  • Nice Mark VIII!

  • Vicious beast!

  • Nice man! I have an update with the sears 10xl custom 7 of mine. I got the motor out, and I am going to find one of the spare go cart motors I have lying around and put that in there. I dont think they have ever been started, and they were new around 5-7 years ago lol, so I hope they will run. not sure though, so wish me luck! I will try to make a video, but i sold my other camera and my kodak uploads in .mov format and youtube doesnt support that, so I do not think I will be doing a vid soon :(

  • i've uploaded some quicktime .mov files to youtube and they worked. but maybe what ever format it actually is, behind the .mov extension isn't accepted. I can help you export the files to a file youtube will accept. I use a mac, so i know all about Quicktime. :)

I do wish you luck with the sears, i'm sure it will work out great though! :)

  • I have a mac too, but i just got it like a month ago. I did a short review of it. I believe its on my page. since then i have modded the apple symbal light on the front cover. the apple lights up red and the leaf lights up green :0

  • Red and Green Sharpie markers? :)

If you need help with quicktime just let me know. you should be able to edit your videos too, chop out stuff you don't want, and things like that. You digging the mac?

  • Nope hehe. took the case apart and added photo filters. Its looks great and professionial. I love the mac. Hey, could you PM me with a little advice on how to edit the vids? I have no idea how haha. Thanks dude!

  • man i love those old jeeps
